Let's not do another Space Jam remake now.

Doncic should've been T'ed up for flopping on that.

The super slow mo is hilarious. Wiggins keeps going upward as Luka goes whole hog on the flop.

That was a "Oh Fark Yeah We're Gonna Sweep Ya!" dunk.

Not sure about it being a flop. He got hit in the throat with a forearm that can be pretty painful.

There was contact (if anything it should have been called a foul on Luka, though the ultimate no-call IMO was correct), but he certainly looked less like he was actually *hit* and more like he decided once he wasn't going *up* anymore (and Wiggins was) he needed to bail.

And he was flopping all game long, trying to draw fouls (yes, flopping, one of the only good defenses bad defenders have in their arsenal). It worked a couple of times.  And it took a coach's challenge to get that one overturned.

The NBA has to do something about it.  It used to be the strict domain of Euros and white guys from Duke.  And the charge was rarely given to them.  But the refs started calling the charge more and it's since spread out to everyone.  Lebron had some of the worst during his run as the best player.   And Bosh was hilarious.

Not saying it was a foul on Wiggins just that on that specific play I don't think he flopped. It looked like a pretty direct hit of bone on breathing tube which hurts and would cause the reaction I saw from Luka.

Wiggins definitely used his off arm to fend off Luka but Luka also jumped into him. I think a no call was probably correct but both players did things that could warrant a foul call on the play.

I've heard that you can't use the stupid "jump into the defender on the shot" offensive flop recently (this season?), maybe they can reduce defensive flops as well.

Look at where Luka was when he jumped, he was in the little arch in front of the hoop. Charges shouldn't be called there by rule.

And what does that have to do with weather he flopped or not. He got a forearm shiver to the throat that hurts and would cause his reaction. Hence I do not think he flopped on this play.

I'm pretty sure Eastern Europeans don't have their throats in their armpits. But I'm not a doctor.

Just so you're aware, you'll never win an argument about flopping by pointing out how being a human being works.

He was also hit high while he was in the air. That'll tend to make you fall down. But for most people "falling down by a guy I don't like" = flop.

/like the earlier one in this thread where Harden chops Wade's face/neck with a forearm and Wade is just supposed to ignore it
//Maybe if reacting like Raja Bell did to all Kobe's "clear-outs" back in '06 didn't result in suspensions, that's how we'd resolve that instead of by attempting to draw a call
