I know aerodynamically it's not the most efficient shape, so the resulting aircraft would likely be ludicrously inefficient at, well just about everything. But if someone were to make an actual, flyable version of an X-Wing, even if it was little better than a Cessna or a drone, they would probably have Star Wars fans with more money than sense lining up around the block to buy one.

I know, the cross section of Star Wars fans who could afford such a thing, have a pilot's license, and lack the good sense to spend their money on something more practical, leaves an extremely-narrow target market. But oh man, the people who fall into that category would be absolutely rabid about wanting to be the only one in their flying club who is flying around in an X-Wing.

Oh sure, Anakin kills a few Yuenglings and all of the sudden everyone compares him to Putin.

We've all done that at some point.

Inside the cockpit, there are two cameras and a targeting system like the one Luke Skywalker used to destroy the Death Star.

Followed by a helpful picture of a precision targeting system.

/I kid, I kid - this is seriously cool

Wait a minute: Luke didn't use the targeting system when he destroyed the Death Star.

Well he was going to, until the voices in his head told him not to.  It's still featured in the scene.

Well, akshully,...
and here we go...
aerodymically? the movie released in 1977 was named "star wars" and it opened with a battleship in space.
"inefficient"? I am sure you will get nerd-raged by scienticians who know the logic of energy in the star wars universe. I mean, the entire franchise opened with a hillbilly talking about "power converters" in Tashi.
Any x-wing is aerodynamic (becuase it's not , because it's in SPACE!) efficiency doesn't matter because you can go into Tashi and get power converters! Nerd slay.
