All kidding aside, it's simply incredible that, nearly half a century later, we're still getting useful information from Voyager 1. It's coming up on its 10th anniversary in interstellar space, in August, and the fact that I even get to type that in earnest is a wonderful thing.

Yep, all the gamma radiation it's been soaking up will cause it to hulk out and become V'ger.
