Lead has a somewhat sweet flavor. Adults wouldn't consume it,I hope, but I wouldn't trust kids with it.

Cause honestly can you trust a child?

farkin Prop 65.

"We've put warning labels on anything that might contain hazardous materials."

"Oh, cool. That sounds handy!"

"Turns out that's everything."

"Oh..."

Buy a couple bags of sand for your kid's sand box. In California they have Prop 65 warnings that it causes cancer, but nothing about the level of risk AND you can buy as much as your want AND let your kids play in it. Which is to say the warning is totally bogus.

Dude there's no telling.  After ww2 and before, industrial pollution was heavy as all hell.   Even in light industrial municipal zones.  Hell I rode in a carpool past superfund sites every day to go to school.

It's not . There is a certain amount of really bad for human things inside many things. It's a high amount. But shareholders get their dividend

I presume a lot of the places they grow cocoa also still burn leaded gasoline. Or just recently stopped. I think it was an episode of House where the person got lead poisoning from the W&Ws.

Dang packaging can't be trusted! Last year I bought a Vulcanized rubber bondage suit, turns out it was not in fact from planet Vulcan nor made of recycled Vulcans! Thank the prophets I didn't buy the Ferenginized one, sheesh.

Golfclap on the headline, LeadMitter.

/I prefer my paint chips to be free range.
//meaning: I break into my neighbors house and shave it off their walls

They should put prop 65 warnings on every doorway, going inside and out. Things indoors outgas compounds known to cause cancer. UV radiation from the sun can cause cancer. By placing the warnings on both sides of every single door, they won't have to put the labels on every single object. Think of how much paper that saves!

Why would you want the Vulcanized suit? You won't get any feeling from those!
