Some dude arguing for his business that happens to be in China doesn't make one a Chinese Government Agent.

Wynn has so much money tied up in Macau and China keeps cracking down on the casinos and he's losing tons of money.

He has no loyalty to any country. He has loyalty to who ever protects his wealth and investments. He's as much a Chinese agent as he is American.

Exactly?  He's not a Chinese agent so much as an agent of self-interest.

Pay attention, doltish Kenan Thompson memelords.

The DOJ first brought it to Wynn's attention that he was in violation of US law regarding representation of a foreign government in 2018, which Wynn ignored because he was the former co-fundraising chair for the Republican National Committee, (along with Michael Cohen and Elliott Broidy) and figured he'd either be pardoned or simply allowed to walk when Trump won a second term. But lo and behold, the presidency changed hands and AG Garland's DOJ, as a formality, sent Wynn notice of the change in management and a refresher statement of facts, giving Wynn a chance to come clean about jerking off of the Chinese government for personal profit. But this latest filing isn't some casual letter. This DOJ and the former DOJ clearly hold sufficient evidence of criminality to file charges. So Garland is clamping Wynn's drooping, 80 year-old nuts in a red hot vise.

See, by retroactively registering as a foreign agent, he'll be tacitly admitting to having been an agent of a foreign nation without registering as such. If he doesn't register as a foreign agent, he'll be indicted for big, fat FARA violations.

This guy's already been credibly accused of harassment by nine different woman and, rather than fight it, resigned from his leadership position within the RNC. Now his ties to the Chinese government are taking center stage and Mr. Bigshot hotel and casino mogul is going to fold like a roll away at a filthy roadside motel.

My god. I don't get it with rich assholes and copious amounts of plastic surgery. You're not going to look young forever. You're either gonna look like an older person, or an older person who's insecurity and vanity made you turn yourself into a human-adjacent looking abomination. Choice is yours.

When people think of American political culture they picture a show like House of Cards or The West Wing.
But it's more like Ozark.

He's 80, super rich and still involved in shady deals trying to make more money.  When is it enough money?

Side note: Steve Wynn is also a major contributor to Ron DeSantis.

Never. Even if they literally had all the money in the world, it wouldn't be enough for them.

Man, he looks rough.

I've stayed at Wynn's Golden Nugget three times, though it's been awhile.  It was the best deal in Vegas.  It's a **** property downtown.  Everything was understated elegance: great little buffet, great cafe, nice little music venue, nice rooms, free valet parking (MAN, those people earn those tips).  We paid $49 Sunday through Thursday and $129 on Friday and Saturday.  We usually left town anyway on the weekends to go to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Death Valley, etc.

Like everything else, their casino was small but tasteful, but they had shiatty odds.  The real reason to be downtown was Binion's Horseshoe across the street.  Dark, smoky, cramped but with 10x odds on craps with $2 min. I can play all night under those conditions.  I won $880 the night got off the plane and I only went over there with a $100 stake because I couldn't go to sleep.  The downtown slots are looser, though I tend to stay away from them unless I'm standing in line for a buffet or trying to score a free mixed drink while I'm waiting for my dinner reservation.  The video poker odds a clearly better than The Strip and even some of the remote off strip budget hotel/casinos, as you can read the payouts for each hand right on the screens.
