Of course,
Like the real queen, Even though it's on rails - it still won't have a clue where it's going half the time.

But, it will look royal.

Who says she doesn't know where she is? It's not like she's ever had to work or ever had any real stress in her life, the things that age you.

She's actually done some work in her life.

I DGAF about British or any royalty, but Queen Elizabeth does have a lot more class than her wretched offspring. Weird to see a positive royalty article instead of another scandal.

"Royalty" is bullshiat and I'm an anti-monarchist. I love Queen Elizabeth II. If you read up on her, you might be surprised.

Same...but your comment challenged me to correlate Thatcher's administration and the Queen's practicality. I don't know anything about their cooperation/conflict. Do you?

We all know it's coming eventually and her inevitable death is going to be a distractionary media shiatshow that goes on for months.
I just want her pallbearers to be about 20 snappily dressed rugged Corgis

Not really. She actually fought against her parents to convince them to let her join the military and they finally relented in 1945, so it was quite late in the war when she joined.  Nonetheless she learned auto mechanics and did repairs on military vehicles.  Her service was short - only a few months before the war officially ended - but nonetheless she was serious about it and became the first woman royal to serve in the military in the UK.

When she dies, there will be an enormous tree or structure that comes down at the same time somewhere around the world. And, you'll feel their related. Know it.

You were proven cynical and wrong, and that's your response to it.
I think you could have done better.

There's been talk for decades about Chuck abdicating and passing the Crown to Wills.

They should have done the train's audio announcements in Queen Elizabeth's voice.

What amazes me is that the Queen's longevity has outstripped all the construction delays they could come up with.  When they approved this back in 2008, everyone figured she'd be pushing up daisies a decade later, and it wouldn't be the least bit weird to name something in her memory.

When she hadn't shuffled off by summer of 2018, they had to announce that "completion was delayed" and it would be another year.  That deadline whooshed by like a Heathrow Express, then COVID hit.  In summer of 2020, they pushed it back another two years, figuring COVID would treat her like many other nonagenarians.  They didn't schedule her to attend the unveiling -- because they thought all along she'd be dead! -- but there she was, all bright yellow with a "gotcha, bastards" smirk.

I suspect that had they continued to push back completion indefinitely, the Queen would have been effectively immortal.
