I stopped eating it (in the US) over a decade ago because every time I did, I had grease running down my arms as I ate, and afterward I would have a stomach ache like Mike Tyson punched me in the gut.  It's just not good food.

I went to Garfield in the mid eighties. Ditching the cafeteria and getting a two piece with a sweet roll from the original Ezell's was the bomb. Think it was less than two bucks.

Truth is it is good fried chicken, but I've had better and I've had comparable. There has has been a lot more worse, too. Ezell's is a solid fried chicken shop and that damn sweet roll is the shiznit.
