I'm honestly surprised this isn't the first time we've heard something like this about him.

The only shot he has made in years.

It was at this point that Rondo left the home and returned 15 minutes later when he allegedly proceeded to bang on the window with a firearm and threatened to kill her, TMZ reported.

Bachelor filed a protective order, which was signed off by a judge according to TMZ, saying the judge ordered Rondo to temporarily stay at least 500 feet away from Bachelor

I'm no expert, but from what I can gather a gun can propel a bullet much farther than 500 feet.

But the judge was aware of Rondo's 3PT FG percentage, so it's alright.

yes but I'd say conservatively 90% of people couldn't hit something 500 feet away.

Assuming it was a handgun because it probably would have been noted had it been otherwise, 500ft is essentially the same distance as 500m, 500km, or 500mi to your average person with a sidearm when it comes to the likelihood of a successful shot at that distance.

Kudos on the article not saying "restraining order."

There are actually laws against firing guns at people. So it's already covered by law. The 500 feet of the restraining order is not meant to keep him from shooting her. If he wants to shoot her, I think whether or not it violates the restraining order is the least of his legal problems, so he may as well approach and take his best shot.

Those orders are meant to remove a threat. Leaving the threat within striking distance just seems dumb.
