I applaud their commitment to thematic continuity.  That was every bit as as tiresome as I would expect a real stormtrooper's youtube channel to be.

So much time, talent, and capital spent for such an underwhelming outcome.

That's the imperial way.

I applaud the commitment but it's 9 minutes long!
That's a long video for, at best, "an amusing premise"

It's sad when these YT review fanboys are so enamored with the product that they refuse to review it objectively and fairly. It's clearly a piece of crap blaster, but TK won't just come out and say it. He'd rather just keep downplaying its glaring flaws. I can't see his channel lasting long if he's going to continue these obviously biased reviews. The fact that there was a government recruiting ad right in the middle just shows where his money is coming from.

Why am I chuckling at the comments about a Storm Troopers video missing the mark? Next thing people will be saying on here are how Red Shirts who served on the Enterprise under Kirk should be giving retirement videos on living long happy lives after their working years.

To be fair, I hear his boss is an abusive arsehole. Guy chocked one of his employers the other day.

When I was a freshman in high school, it was a copy of this video that was used to teach "Assemble" and "Insert" editing in my Introduction to Television Production class.

My sophomore year we got our first nonlinear editors.

I really hate the trope that stormtroopers can't hit anything.  They were pretty solid in the OT.  The only real instance where they were shown to be bad shots was inside the death star where they were ordered to miss.  They kicked ass on Tatooine, Bespin and Hoth.

They did?

Bespin: They hit no one besides an unarmed droid taken by surprise at close distance.

Tatooine: Only hits were unarmed civilians at close quarters.

Hoth: No stormtrooper is shown hitting any rebel scum.  The only hits shown in the movie came from AT-ATs i.e. not stormtroopers.

And I see you ignored Endor which an entire legion of the Empire's best troops got defeated by Ewoks armed with spears and with no more tech than a European army from 1100 AD had. Okay thay also had Han, Leia, Chewie, Rex, a few others fighting with weapons they had to physically take from the Imps.

I know you find this unbearable Lord Bear as an Imperial but you'll just have to give in to the dark side of the matter that a Republic/Rebel trooper with coke bottle glasses can hit better then all the troops on your Star Destroyer.

I love you're including reconned Rex simple because that old man extra was lucky enough to have a white beard.

I'm assuming Temura Morrison will show up in Kenobi or at least Ahsoka as Rex (or some/all of the Bad Batch)

Stormtroopers absolutely dominated Tatooine, Hoth and Bespin. They aren't shown killing civilians, or hitting any human main characters because its a PG movie and protagonist plot armor.  They did hit C3P0 at Bespin and Leia and R2 on Endor.

As for the Ewoks, I didn't mention them because they rule.  They are the only faction that uses any sort of strategy or tactics in the entire trilogy.  They use guerilla tactics that work well against technically superior forces (see also: the Vietnamese, Afghans and Ukrainians).  They also capture the last Jedi and a good chunk of the high rebel command without breaking a sweat.  They are the superior military power in the universe.

The stormtroopers being a joke is one of the main reasons all the new movies SUCK.  A threat that is a joke isn't a threat.

You are impressed that they can hit an unarmed droid at close quarters who was taken by surprise?

Or that Leia getting a minor arm injury? If stormtroopers were any good Han and Leia would have been dead. Instead they both physically took weapons from Imperials and killed umpteen of them. The imps outnumbered the rebels by a rediculous amount in this battle. They had a legion. Unless that term means something very different in SW this means thousands of troops. And they are the best.

On Tatooine, they only kill civilians. Are you really impressed that they managed to kill Owen and Beru? Or destroy a Jawa crawler? Or that they can boss around civilians who are not behind locked doors?

Disney did not invent the idea that they can't shoot very well.  It been a standard joke since the 80s at least.

Like it or not it is canon and they clearly decided to make Rex look like the older trooper in RotJ.

But if we say it was not Rex then the Imps' performance becomes even less impressive.  Rex was supposed to be a super good soldier.

I suspect that Morrison is not in Kenobi though I would not put money on it. In Ahsoka as Rex makes sense though Rex should be shown as much older than Fett. Why would he show up in the Bad Batch as Baker does the voice in all the animated shows?

I really don't think they modeled Rex after that random extra in Jedi.

And I was saying Morrison could show up AS the bad batch, not ON the Bad Batch.

Clones is clones.  Morrison is the clones.  So though a beard on him, he's Rex.
Give him a mullet, he's Hunter!

No, it kind of became a meme in the early web days of the 90s.  However, Disney did pick it up and run with it.

Remember that scene in Rogue one where a blind man with a stick beats the hell out of 50 stormtroopers?  You know what would have been a better scene?  This: Blind man with a stick beats up one or two stormtroopers, then gets burned down by the others, to the horror of his friends.   This would establish the antagonist as a real and dangerous threat.

And don't give me any crap about "The Force being with him".  Fully sighted, trained Jedi with lightsabers were killed by enough clone troopers, battle droids and/or geonosians in the prequels.  That whole scene was dumb.
