I would encourage people interested in Eurovision to look at Anna Maria Jopek.  And those with no interest, especially.

I'm not providing a link because any one should be sufficient.

Ukraine winning is further proof that picking the winner has never been about the song.

Let it go, man. It's not worth dying angry just because "My Lovely Horse" had no chance of winning.

The songs are usually all bad but it's fun watching the performers try to out "Eurovision" each other.  The only time I have ever liked one of the songs enough to put it on my playlist was 2007 when Bulgaria should have won but came in 5th instead.

I don't really care at all about this. But it's very obvious that countries vote for each other based on geographical affinities, and not because of the talent of the singers.

That's not always true. It was an entirely different type of shenanigans that led to "My Lovely Horse" being included in the competition in the first place.

I only have 2 myself. Rise like a Phoenix & Euphoria

I watched it live, and did think it odd that as many as 3 countries somehow 'lost the connection' so the CEO had to dead the votes out. makes sense now
