No. I know humans have always been that way. It's a species problem. More specifically, fear, ego, and ignorance.

So subby is saying that India's bias towards Muslims is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside? I think their bias though is increasingly showing on the outside.

Relativity says that space and time are effectively the same thing, so redundant lyric is redundant, but musically, IMO one of LZ's best songs.

Also, redundant conflict, now going on 75 years, is redundant.  It's the same old thing, now with a little nukes in it.

How much do Indian Hindus hate Indian Muslims?
The Tiger of Mysore was a Raj who kept the British out of his part of the country for 18 years, defeating them multiple times in battle - remembered in a painting: "arguably the greatest Indian picture of the defeat of colonialism that survives".
You'd expect this man, Tipu, would be one of India's national heroes, alongside Ghandi.
But no, he was Muslim, so India barely remembers him.

To be fair, he won two wars, but then lost two wars - and his country still got absorbed into the EIC Borg.

But Akbar is still remembered - and he was Muslim.  He also didn't serve as more than a speedbump to EIC hegemony.

Dis empowering huge parts of your population and removing any non-violent ways they have of effecting change is sure to work.

The Tiger was indeed a pretty cool guy.  But he came to power because his own father was part of a foreign colonial alliance that included help from France (albeit in a mild way - the people of Mysore seem to have been happy to have them take over).

Turning against imperial heritage is happening frequently nowadays and Muslim leaders were as much into empire-building as any group.  But India did a fair share of conquering too in its history!

No, the US just has more opportunity to show their hatred then most countries.

Really no country is free of this type of bigotry, but the US just has to many embers that keep getting fanned back into flames. Race, Religion, Sexuality, Political party, Political sub-Faction, Age, income, what state you live in, Rural v Urban, opinion on a single subject that should not be an issue, etc. The US keep stoking all of them rather then actually fixing any.

That dude basically invented rocket weaponry.   They'd light them off in the general direction of the British and it would scare the shiat out of them.   His ideas can be traced directly through Robert Fulton, Robert Emmet, and Congreve.

I'd blame it on politicians, and their sycophants in the media. Every mole hill is Mt Everest, and they are Edmond Hillary.

I'm not sure if you are aware, dear, but India is composed of many, many races.  And while not a fool-proof indicator, race and religion often have a reasonable overlap in the Venn Diagram there.

Oh, I'm well aware of the diversity of demographics in India. And although an overlap between race and religion doesn't seem far-fetched, I doubt it's nearly as cut and dry as the matter of religion as an indicator of the conflict. If you want to provide something that shows otherwise, rather than just a "yeah, it seems like", I'll be happy to look at it.

Oh, of course. I forgot with religious conflict, when you die you go to heaven or whatever and cheer on your team from the sidelines. No such luck with racial conflict.

Uhhh, not sure where you are getting this. Tipu's magnificent palace in Mysore and the location of his martyrdom are visited by tens of thousands every day. I myself have been there twice. In fact, its his father, Haider Ali, who is forgotten, though he was a legitimate bad-ass.
