They seemed pricey. I just want a pair of comfy readers with a wide nose frame.  Farkers have any sites to suggest?

I've purchased readers off of Amazon with decent results. Only issue is most are packs of 3 or 5 in different colours. They are cheap however, and for how often I use them they fit the bill.

Otherwise, it's the carousel at your local CVS pharmacy if you want to try them on first. :P

A quick GIS will lead you to a few.  I had a coworker who bought a good pair of prescription reading glasses this way, you should be able to find one pair for < $100.
Otherwise I just shop on Amazon or at my local pharmacy for readers.  You can get a pile of them for around $12 total.  Leave them around the house and one in your car, especially if you can't read without them.
If you need to look dressed up for work (sales, real estate), then go for WP or whatever.  Otherwise it's just wasted money.
Of course, I'm cheap AF, haha.

Thanks, and that is good starting advice, the amazon bulk sets.

That's what I did last year when I first started to wear them. Wanted to just have a bunch of cheap pairs to see how well I could keep track of them (or lose them) before I spent a lot on one pair. They work and apparently I did well not to lose them or break them.

Looking for a better fitting pair now.

I believe my S.O. was able to get a pair through her insurance at a place called 'Vision 4 Less', which is apparently owned by 'Eyemart Express'.

At any rate, I believe w/out her insurance they would have only been like 60$ USD for a name brand frame, and I believe they threw in a second pair for free or really cheap.

Was on vaca and saw they actually had a brick and mortar store.
Surprised me. Thought they were only online
Didn't go in.
Probably same expensive price as my rural area.

There's a store here in Pittsburgh, also. When I called my insurance company to see if they were in-network, the rep also thought they were online only.

/ insurance currently doesn't deal with them

https://www.payneglasses.com/

I got two pairs of prescription readers for under $20.  Stay away from the add ons and you can truly get like $7 glasses.    My expensive Ray-Bans I uses for hours at the computer are far more comfortable and do give less eye fatigue.
BUT
I got these cheap ones to leave around the house or in the car.  Now my good ones stay put at my desk.  If the cheapies get scratched, broken, whatever, who cares?  I'll get more, and truly like in a few weeks.  I want a few pair to leave in my shop area, in my wife's car, and the like.

Maybe if I didn't immediately associate them with the 3-4 spam email messages per day I get from them, I'd consider looking into their products.

Seconded. As long as you know your prescription you can get anything you want from cheap around the house to top of the line with all the features that will still be well below any retail store.
