My first thought was, where did the liquid come from? You might have the answer...

That was my first thought too, I'm fairly certain that's not normal! Maybe it's not much, and it's just built-up over time as a bubble that follows the station in it's microgravity? Maybe atmospheric forcing does strange things to water vapor distribution at such altitudes and it's of terrestrial origin?

My suggestion is a bit of a jump, I admit, but it's certainly the most obvious explanation.

/space pee, anyone?
