MarioGolf... simply because our friend who had played nonstop for months, figuring out every hole, ahead of inviting us to play too... because he never realized that the other players controller also affected the ball fade/ slice or spin.

Blades of Steel not included for Hockey? Fail.

World Class Track Meet which was included with the Power Pad. Tried to use it as intended, but found that slapping the controls with your hands worked much better.

Baseball Simulator 1000. Any game that lets you throw the Ninja Ball needs to be near the top of the list

Super Dodge Ball. I think this might be my fav NES game of all time. Really kind of sad that there has been no attempt to make any kind of recent gen iteration of it.

C-, didn't read the assignment

TFA is about first and second party Nintendo games specifically. Blades of Steel and Base Wars were both published by Konami.

Criteria from the article: the games in question needed to have either been developed by Nintendo (or one of its close development partners), or prominently feature Nintendo characters

So Baseball Stars was left out.  However their pick of Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball is spot on from what they had to choose from.  That game was pretty fun.

Ragin' Asian: Pilotwings? Seriously?

What was wrong with Pilotwings?  Always thought that was fun.

I guess at the time I was already used to flight sims on the PC. Pilotwings felt like an entire game that was just the tutorial.

Mutant League Football and Hockey were always a blast for me. The best part was winning by attrition and not score.

Yeah, calling it a tutorial is kind of accurate but I still remember enjoying it.

And laughing every time my skydiver's chute didn't open and crashed into the ground Wile E Coyote style.
