I honestly did not know they already owned Crackle.  I actually like Redbox.  It's cheaper than digital rentals (somehow) and works great for recent releases.  It's also nice being able to rip the discs at full quality, too.

LOL, anyone that tried to play this immediately lost 50%... Wow.

Good luck. They serve a market that definitely exists and might just grow during the next few years.

I like Redbox all right. Their prices are dirt cheap.

I used to like Redbox, but their selection for new releases, especially on Blu-Ray, has gotten far worse over the last couple of years. Guess you're SOL if you want to watch something where streaming isn't an option.

It may not necessarily be their fault, the distributors may simply not care to go through them and are sticking with streaming.

That's a bold move.  I'll bet good money that the C-Level and Upper Mgmt of Redbox is up to their neck in intoxicants, loose women and major impulse purchases.

Oh god. Worked in a small independent bookstore when that started blowing up along with spin-offs (e.g. Chicken Soup for the Mother and Daughter Soul). I paged though one. Bunch of saccharine pap.

That was also the Summer of Animorphs. When we were sold out, I recommended Asimov and LeGuin to some kids.
