Will they be having peanut donuts.  I'll get that cervical cancer prevention shot for a Timmy's peanut donut.

I'm okay with them quickly dying. I'm not okay with them still being able to spread it to immunocompromised people, or having a sudden change of heart and burdening an already overloaded healthcare system when they realize jamming toilet bowl cleaner up their ass isn't fixing their problem.

If everyone's vaccinated even if a camper gets covid the rest don't have to isolate.  (Go home early). Tim's did the math and realized it's their only option.

fark the antivaxxers and their entitled bullshiat.  You have the right to refuse vaccination.  We have the right to refuse to serve your plague monkey ass.

The typical rural antivaxxer would literally starve if they couldn't buy from Tim Hortons.  Like all things involving these idiots, its a problem for them that will work itself out one way or another without any further prodding from the society they are so hell bent on rejecting while simultaneously benefiting from tremendously.

Like a house cat, that won't eat the food you put in its dish.

Every unnecessarily-unvaxxed asshole is a walking bioreactor for the next variant which could easily kick the asses of the vaxxed as well.

We're that not the case, I'd be cheering the deaths of these plague rats.

What exactly do they do at a Tim Horton's camp? If they do not spend their days eating donuts and drinking coffee then it is a rip off.

Er, isn't boycotting Tim Hortons like committing suicide in Canada? They're like Starbucks, where else are you gonna get your daily caffeine hit? That little mom and pop hut without a drive-thru?

Camp stuff. Canoeing, hiking, making fires, that sort of thing. They do it for low income kids.

No vax you pay out of pocket unless there's a verifiable medical reason you can't get it.  They will cry about it (but not for very long) and if they do get medical care it will cost them everything which will either lead them to get a vaccine because they can't afford doing it again or Darwin is tagged in to resolve it

Naido: Aren't the unvaccinated pretty much just endangering themselves at this point? Aren't the rest of us pretty much ok with that?

It's that vaccines are 92-95% effective. 5-8% of people who got the jab didn't build an immune response. Then you introduce a plague rat with the vid, and the susceptible get sick in the relatively close confines of a summer camp.

IIRC Canada has the most expensive housing in the world right now. It's always a slapfight between a few cities, though. Toronto area is crazy inflated, housing's been extremely volatile the last couple years. It's currently on a cooling period but the market is still wildly inflated. On the other hand, if you want to go live in bumfark nowhere Manitoba, that's still pretty cheap. No jobs there, though.

No. If they got sick then simply keeled over and died it would be ok. Instead they spread the illness around, crowd the ICUs, and cause shiatloads of collateral damage. Have you not been paying attention at all these last couple years?

If you go 3 or 4 hours outside torontonits ok, though you may be in the rural badlands. Or mosquitoville. Generally you should assume property prices here are higher than than the US. Our housing costs went wild. But... I thibk affordable outside the GTA.

London and Hamilton, or kitchener/Waterloo might not be bad places to scope out to. Though they are also going up.

Mostly it's nice here. Northern Ontario has a fair share of rednecks.

London's cheap-ish.  K-W is NOT.  And Hamilton has the least affordable (compared to local incomes) housing stock in Canada.

I need a mix between bumfark and city, like I have now.  I know Toronto housing is insane so I'm not trying for that.  We want acreage anyway.

The US is scaring the sh*t out of us.
