I have a string of digits that are far more unique.  And you can get them for a lot less.  I could actually part with them for under a thousand bucks.  Call me.

Okay, time to start saving for a good espresso machine. This is getting stupid and I'm not going to support it.

It's amusing watching big corporations get into NFTs even though the market for them collapsed over 90% in the last 6 months.

This is the Walmart strategy, make them cheep and even though they are useless dumbasses will still think they got a good deal

What does a good machine cost.

I like a latte so I'll need a frother as well.

knock Starbucks all you want, every other coffee option around here (30022) and other areas I frequent sucks;
That includes the local craft place (only pour-overs and they are frikkin' weak).

on a 8+ hour drive I'll go out of my way for SB, passing DD and McD (yuck) on the way.

There was a SB-logo thread long ago, it was glorious.  Tough to find any remnants these days.

/no Tim Horton's here yet, closest one will be 40+ minutes away when it opens.
//Note: the Starbucks "experience" is still a PITA, would love a self-serve option to avoid the fufu-drinkers.

It's one of those silly devices that will run you anywhere from $500 to $5000, depends on what you want. The new Brevilles are supposedly good and they have one around $500 and another around $800.

Tim Horton's is ass half of the time these days. Unless I know from experience that a location knows got to pour, I either ask for a double quad to mask the mediocrity or don't bother.

Now I think of it, I remember being told that a good burr grinder would probably set me back $500 on its own and at that point I lost all interest.

I can't speak for most of Starbucks menu, but their regular coffee is only 2 bucks for the Grande (16 ounce). That's not overpriced at all in my opinion, and I'm a cheap bastard. I'll drink McDonald's in a pinch, and even that's $1.50.

There's a Starbucks right where the bus drops me off on my way into the office.

Honestly - the free coffee in our office breakroom tastes better than their over-roasted crap.

I'm pretty sure I've seen decent burr grinders in stores for way less than $500.

Apparently you've seen burr grinders for less than that.

"We are creating the digital third place. To achieve this, we will broaden our framework of what it means for people to be a member of the Starbucks community, adding new concepts such as ownership and community-based membership models that we see developing in the web3 space," he added.

Ha ha ha ha ha what an absolute load of shiat.
