With the 20th overall pick though? Feels they could have gotten him at 2-20 based on all the chatter.

Really hard to say. It's true that other QBs slipped in the draft, so there was no rush to get to the front of the line. On the other hand, Pickett is not those other QBs, and we just have no idea who else might have wanted to draft him.

If the Steelers believe in Pickett, they were smart to just grab him and not play games.
