Just a side note TFA mentions 17-11-70 and I have to say that is one hell of an album.   Stripped down, unplugged and raw.

I remember Levon and Tiny Dancer being pretty big hits back then.  At least the crappy radio stations I used to listen to back them played both of them incessantly.

He's not going very far out into space if he's going to be back on Earth and home for the weekend.  The Apollo 11 trip to the Moon and back took 8 days from takeoff to return.  And this guy implies that he's making trips to Mars in just 5 days?

Something tells me that "Rocket Man" actually works in a 7-11 and is bullshiatting some chick in a bar.

FM had their hit stations along with the underground ones.

My intro to them was around 67 with KGO-FM - all we do is music. They only played Beatles and Stones and with the help of some headphones it moved me from the usual 60s music to more RnR. I don't remember the pop ones call letters. KSAN was the underground one and eventually went C&W.

Just saw him in March at the XCel Center in St. Paul.  Amazing show.  He can't hit the high notes like he used to, but he can still put most of today's "artists" to shame.
