If you believe there is such a thing as "an invasive species" you are a stupid ignorant fook face.

here a quick headline correction for truth:

One of the worst invasive most successful species on earth' found in western Washington.

That's right, when you can thrive and survive in a wider and wider range of territory, in nature that just means you're doing it right. That is an indication of sucess, period the end, so says Mother Nature, feel free to argue with her all you want.

In nature there are no recognized POLITICAL boarders, that's kind of a prerequisite for invasion.
When one chip troupe fights another for territory there is no invasion, there is just finding out ho has the strength to remain in that arbitrary locaiton.

Animals are not people, they do not see what we see, stop anthropomorphism them.
They do not invade, they are not invasive, they are just able to thrive in a wider variety of environments or not.

European starlings farkin wrecked local bird populations when they were brought over by people and escaped. They did not fly to the USA from Europe.

African clawed (not horned) frogs are disgusting.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_clawed_frog

Year ago in LA I had a friend who was then junior management in the Metropolitan Water District.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metropolitan_Water_District_of_Southern_California

They had a reservoir or something that was infested with them and he was put in charge of eradicating them.
Animal rights activist got wind and a chick reporter got sent to cover the story. He took her out to the location and showed her huge masses of squirming slimy frogs and she near lost her lunch.

They don't even verge on being cute. They are evil eating machines.

// a friend put a small one in his fish tank and it ate the eyeballs off his google eyed goldfish.

As we are a natural part of nature, then when our actions move animals around, that's equivalent to any storm winds or other, naturally occurring phenom, that happens to move them around.

See, we are no different than other force of nature, fr0m the POV of nature/the animals being moved around.
they wind up somewhere they were not already, and they either can or cannot thrive there.
If they can, that is just an example of a species being successful.

they did not have a line on some map that said, this is not a place you are allowed to live, you are not welcome here, this place does not want you.
Any arbitrary locaiton on earth, that has what it takes for any arbitrary animal to survive, does.
And so if they can get there, from any arbitrary means, then they do.

And now that is there new home, if they can thrive there.

Anything else is anthropomorphism, they do not see such boarders as we do, their home is wherever they can make it. they are in our terms, citizens of earth. Our notions about arbitrary boarders being where it is or is not ok for who to be, is just us.

So, can they be made delicious? We're really good at taking species to the brink once they're in a can with a mascot on the front and we have like three or four good recipes.

The wiki page mentions that they're sometimes used as an aphrodisiac, with reports of eating them causing priapism. We just need to convince people to go after these instead of rhino horn for all their boner needs, and problem solved.

Borders have nothing to do with the definition of "invasive species".
Here's a quick reference. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invasive_species
It's all about the effect the species has on it's ecosystem. It's not about geography.

Pretty much everything has been used as an aphrodisiac or fertility folk remedy at some point. Magically it makes sense. Frogs are randy little bastards.

and this article left out the best (WORST) part!

african clawed frogs are a known carrier of chytrid fungus. and chytrid fungus just LOVES killing basically ALL the other species of amphibians out there.

Fark user imageView Full Size

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/amphibian-chytrid-fungus-pet-frog/

so not only will they eat up all the native critters, they'll infect the local frogs and salamanders, and then those guys will die.......

Contamination is a false term.  If there is something foreign in your food it's now just part of the recipe and is therefor an ingredient.  A fried rat among your chicken wings?  Spit on your burger?  Botulinum bacteria in your can of beans?  Stop complaining, they are now just  ingredients.
