It's only three stories.  Those kids will learn valuable lessons up there.  Like, don't fall off a three story building.

I don't know, but it sounds like a terrible basis for a system of government.

They weren't even supposed to be there today.

A Chinese railing would only lull them into a false sense of security.

Hmm, photo shows a threeish foot wall just like any building that size has. Quit trying to nerf the world submitter

A few weeks ago my son, six, jumped off a high structure at a playground. He put his face into his shoe, knocking out his remaining top front tooth. He didn't tell a teacher or classmate. Nope, just kept on playing because he didn't even notice it gone. And no it wasn't loose yet, it was a fully intact baby tooth. Having a fearless kid is farking scary.

Yup, I got those. "Let's go to the playground, I wanna go on the swings." Shimmies up the frame and across the cross-bar from which the swings are suspended.

In China? Probably safer for them on the roof than on the sidewalk.

With a Chinese railing they'd just fail an hour later.

worst that could happen is you get impaled by whatever the kids threw off the building.

Worked as a mining engineer for almost a decade.  One country we didn't work in was PRC - they only report mining 'incidents' when at least 12 people are killed.  Safety isn't ever considered.

China has more than enough kids. It can afford to lose 3 or 4 no problem.

Whwn my nephew was six, he was caught doing flips of his bed. His dad told him he wasn't allowed to do that anymore. He says "Fine, I'll just do it when you leave."

Just stupid.  The guy in white ran around the perimeter a few times and took some selfies.  The one in red was nervous as fark and wouldn't get close to the edge.

Try removing a sliver from a little kid's finger and they act like you're performing a vivisection. Then they go and knock a tooth out while playing and they don't even notice. I don't even know what to think anymore. I'm just here to keep him alive until he's an adult and then his craziness is his problem.
