Another talking head from TV. Funny how many of them there are that think themselves conservative geniuses.

Ah yes, failed perennial candidate Bob VanderPlatts and the group that gave us this complete bullshiat gem from 2012 that was so toxic even Michele Bachmann claimed she hadn't read it before signing it.

I don't think he could win the primary. As popular as he is, a lot of right-wingers I know* can't stand him. They think he's a pussy know-it-all rich punk. They all love Trump though. Don't ask me why they hold it against Tucker for being rich but admire Trump for it, they make no sense to me.

*None of them friends anymore, sadly. Some of them used to be decent people... Or at least I thought they were.

Because Tucker inherited his fortune while Trump... nevermind, I thought I had somewhere to go with this.

He's just there priming the pump for the conservatives.  Solidify the base with the latest anti-dem, anti-woke, socialism BS.
Try and sell something while he has their attention. You know, try his hand at grifting a bit.

And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can sell anything... grab em by the wallet...

I think you're on to something. Even though they both inherited fortunes, TFG doesn't come off that way. People see him as self-made even when they know he was born rich. Tucker is like the stereotype of a trust fund douche. People like the way he sticks it to the libs, but they don't like him. Trump comes off like a mobster... He's relatable. I guess. A doctorate in psychology wouldn't be enough for me to truly understand it.

They reaffirm their audience that it's not only okay to be an asshole, but they have an obligation to their country to be an asshole.

...because Americans are farking stupid, and they pride themselves on being stupid.

Study it out.

/like 46-47% of Americans are farking idiots that are like, "I'm stupid but love Jesus and the FLAG and I don't believe them fancy book learners that try and tell ME about Science and wearing masks!"

Here on Fark, before Trump, we had a name for them:  Internet Tough Guys or Rugged Individualista.

You know:..  assholes!

Too young. America only does geriatrics. And it's like legalizing marijuana. The majority of people seem to want something different, but nothing ever changes.

They love Trump** for his white trash persona. While Tucker, the Fox News influencer, is also complete trash but he doesn't project what I call a "wrestler's personality" like Trump. Both are complete p*****s but Trump talks tough.

I think this is the same event where Trump was asked by the evangelicals in attendance when the last time was that he had asked God for forgiveness, and he said he had never asked God for forgiveness because he had never done anything for which he needed to be forgiven, which is a complete rejection of everything evangelicals claim to believe. And, being people of faith and principle, they voted for him in droves, anyway, convincing themselves he was one of them despite his clear demonstration that he doesn't understand them at all.

Actually, Trump knows they're full-of-shiat bigots whose professed faith is a lie and who just want a leader who will punish the people they hate, so maybe he understands them pretty well.

He always sparks speculation..."Who knew the prostate could utter words?!? He's a spinshiat wizard, gotta be a twist - he has supple wrists!"
