I can understand leaving a phone somewhere.

Isn't a watch supposed to be strapped to you?

Do people make a habit of taking them off on restaurants?

/hasn't worn a watch in decades

Viral marketing really does seem fun

They need to try harder. Maybe have it lodged inside a rectum. Doctor pulls it out, spreads the good news.

Or not.

I have no clue how people can take their phones out of their pockets and leave them on a table at a restaurant, their desk at work, in a meeting room, etc.

It's one thing to forget it in a charger, but otherwise, I'm not setting down, especially in public. It goes in my pocket.

I'm glad it's round, but why are we still doing waterfall displays? Does any human being actually enjoy using them?

Meh. It's not like it's advanced alien technology. It's marginally better than the last model... maybe.

It kind of makes sense for a watch since most watches have curved crystals instead of flat ones. Plus you don't interact with the edges of the display as much as you do with a phone.

1. Google is apparently letting undercooked hardware stay with employees outside of the office. I could see value in that for general testing of boring things like GPS accuracy (assuming it doesn't just piggyback on a connected phone,) so... Eh.

2. I had a watch tan line on my right wrist for decades, because it only left my wrist when it obviously should've been elsewhere. Taking one off to leave it at a restaurant? Just put it in your pocket if you're yodeling in the restroom.

3. All that happened and someone found it, examined it further than checking if it had contact info visible, and decided to be the next "leaked device maybe" person.

Yep, doesn't sound like a weak attempt at engineered hype at all.

Try to create hype for a product that no one really cares about.

Too small. I wear one of these and the screen is still too small for proper use.

I think I need something more along the lines of a Pip-boy.

Nullav: 2. I had a watch tan line on my right wrist for decades,

Well there's your problem. You're supposed to wear a watch on your left wrist.
