When inflation, supply chain issues, and bird flu ultimately drive up chicken prices up to $20/lb, I'll say only one thing:

Look out, Canadian Geese.  You're dinner.

Dude, this is normal behavior.  You want those things actively hunting us?

Isn't the MO of law enforcement to track down the animal in question and humanely euthanize it in a hail of bullets for daring to screw with a human? Make an example of it for the other geese.

You know how Canadians were feared in the trenches of WWI and WWII, but laid back the rest of the time? It's because every Canada Day, we channel our hate and rage into the Canada Geese in our dark ritual: The Great Metricification.

/  Believe me, you do _not_ want us skipping the ritual in peacetime...

Let's just say I've tried this technique, and both times it's led to an angry Goose loudly pecking at my ass as I run away as fast as I can.

I mean, it's funny when you first connect, until you realize you've just made an extremely angry unhinged bird even more angry and unhinged.

One of the local parks is home to hundreds of Canada geese, and they're remarkably well behaved. They congregate along the waterfront walking path and ignore people walking through their midst. They pose for photographs, show off their young, even tolerate occasionally being run at by dogs and enthusiastic small children.

I have to assume they're playing the long game, spending years lulling us into a false sense of security while planning the ultimate coordinated attack.

Cops fear geese. They know the geese will kill them and hunt down all their friends and family.

Kid at UCD kicked a goose (not even a canada goose i don't think, but they were pretty big) and the farker broke his leg. I guess their wings are strong as hell.
