Meta Knight's Revenge - Fusion Big Band version ft. Button Masher

This is actually a pretty cool find. I always forget how much I loved the music from Revenge of Meta Knight. This arrangement and performance does the original score justice, and then some.

Thanks for the share, subs.

With how many are in that group of music styles, giving it to kirby is pathetic

If Kirby inhaled an Oscar, he'd get the little sword.

The 8-Bit Big Band has been doing some great covers over the past 5 years or so. Glad to see they're getting some industry recognition.

I love that the sentence "Specifically, it was the music track Meta Knight's Revenge from the 1996 SNES game Kirby Super Star." exists.

Can't wait until Yoko Shimomura gets nominated for something, and everyone's forced to say, "Oh crap, I played X, Y, and Z game that she did the soundtrack for."

Yeah, that'll never happen. Western Video game award stuff somehow manages to be even more insular and masturbatory than Hollywood, probably because the Japanese stuff blows all of it out of the water and has since the beginning. Everyone is competing to the 30th best game of the year, or first place in the inner circle.

This is just as cool as hearing the SNES-era tunes that were covered at the 2020 Olympics.
