ahhh, so that's what it really is.

What is the current American political climate if it's not a war?

Seriously take them down the hall, hold their heads in the latrine, and just keep flushing until you get ALL the stupid out.

ALL OF IT

"The country wants to move on. Nobody is proud of what happened on Jan. 6 but people are like, 'With all the problems we have going on in the country right now, this is going to be the focus of the Democrats?'"

That takes me back to the Iran Contra days.  Sigh.

So the Party of Law and Order's position is that criminals should be allowed to continue their crimes consequence-free if they're Republicans?  Or do they have to be Republican politicians, as opposed to the run-of-the-mill GOP riffraff?

Would "trigger"'political war? Honey, please. That was triggered back when you attempted to impeach Bill Clinton for lying about an affair rather than for anything substantial.

As Trump is the presumptive Republican nominee in 2024, Biden investigating him is tantamount to imprisoning your political rivals which is trademark Third World Banana Republic BS.

But then again, so is declaring yourself the Winner when you lost, rejecting the results and sending an angry mob to take a sh*t in the Capitol unless you are installed as Emperor.

But as you know, When they go low, we go high.

FSCK YOU! We want those responsible to be held accountable otherwise there is nothing to dissuade the next attempt to violently attack our government in attempt to overturn fair and legal election results.

The people who organized and supported a coup attempt against the government of the United States of America warn that any attempt to hold their leader accountable would be an act of "political war".

That's the joke.

/Republicans already declared war
//the only question is if Democrats are Chamberlain, or Churchill.

They have to be *politically useful* Republicans. Meaning, if they have money or influence, then they can commit crimes.

The poor nobodies? Yeah, they're going to jail. Which means, if you are a poor nobody and a Republican, be sure to raise a huge stink in the media if you commit a crime. Because it will work to your benefit. Especially if you are in a Republican-controlled state.  Got pulled over for a DUI? Lost your license? Blame it on Mexicans and Biden and mask mandates.

extortion

1 : the act or practice of extorting especially money or other property especially : the offense committed by an official engaging in such practiceExtortion is generally punished by a fine or imprisonment, or both. Under federal and state laws, extortion carries up to a 20-year prison sentence. The punishment for extortion depends on whether force was used in extorting money or other property./I know I know//Wish in one hand///Fark in the other

All kidding aside, openly letting corrupt rich people off the hook for crimes we all know they committed is exactly how you destroy your credibility.
Once that's gone, it doesn't come back...and it might take a while before the judicial system collapses...but that's what will happen.

2022-03-07 3:29:08 PM
We had a half dozen Benghazi investigations, White Water and an impeachment over a seaman stain. If Republicans take the House they will impeach Biden because they can.

There is nothing to be gained by working with them.

And who cares what the Republicans consider partisan.  They already consider everything partisan, so this "threat" is meaningless.

If there is enough evidence to get a conviction, indict away!

Exactly. He's already their presumed nominee. Are we going to let someone in financial ruin, with clear ties to Putin and clearly demonstrating their sociopathic intent each and every day with new lies?

That cannot be the 2024 50/50. It's not a rational choice! It gnaws at me that Trump can still run for an office he is clearly, uniquely, unqualified for and nearly half the country somehow still says "yea let's do that!"

He wanted to paint made in China on American f22s and attack Putin with them to start a nuclear war! Do you think he was really joking? Do you realize he was probably talked down from nuking things dozens of times?

He kept documents so classified they can't described in boxes in Mar-a-Lagos basement!

But he's the presumed Republican nominee!!!

A lot of "It would be a shame if.." threats at the end there.

If the Dems did nothing, do we have any reasonable belief that Republicans would not gin up some controversy and try to have hearings on Ben Ghazi and Hunter Biden?

Of course not. They will do those things anyway. Game theory holds that the Dems should prosecute Trump and all fellow conspirators, then. There is no new downside.

The reality is so obvious, they have to go to great lengths to ignore the truth of it.

They hate this nation and everything it stands for and they want it to fail.
They have nothing left to believe in but their own ignorance and gluttony.

There are the same idiots that supported multiple investigations over an email server, and an attack that had all the data.

And what would that be Senator?  Please remember you are not on the Senate floor and the debate clause does not apply.  Did she obstruct, attempt to obstruct, conspire tonobstrct or incite tonobstructofficial governmentbproceedings?    Did she attempt to extort foreign leaders to create politically damaging fictions to smear her opponent?  I could go on, but it's so depressingly cynical of these clowns to blackmail this way.
