Although, the union are fine with stock options.

I know Elon musk personally.  Let me tell you, this guy is a real piece of crap.  He's actually a member of this country club where they force special needs children to sit on a stage while they throw rotten vegetables and dog poop at them.  He's also a confirmed elevator farter.  I'll never buy a Tesla.

Rich guys will cut their own throats to prevent unions from taking foot.

And if they vote to unionize, he'll just say that the Tesla plant in Texas will now be doing the bulk of the manufacturing and shut down the California plant.

/no idea if there's a plant in Texas or not
//if not, he'll announce plans for a new plant in Texas and say the California plant will be shuttered at the earliest possible point

The Austin, Texas "Gigafactory 5" is under construction. But certainly, Freemont is gone once that thing opens.
