Not gonna happen. It just isn't how Nintendo works.

The only companies they acquire are ones they have an established relationship with and can easily fit into Nintendo and its culture.

And if things at Nintendo changed enough that they would buy Capcom or Konami, they would be no better an option than Sony or MS.

Even though Konami's IP stable is vast (and untapped anymore), Komani itself is basically a Yakuza gambling ring at this point. No one wants to touch them.

Wonder what prompted that, they were basically already glued together as it stood.
Maybe someone wanted to retire and assure the ties between the companies didn't suffer for it or something?

Its two biggest assets are Yu-Gi-Oh and Slot Machines.  Castlevania is barely a blip.
