really?

The school reached out to the AHSAA to ask if they could get their game switched to a 7:30 p.m. timeslot. Another pair of teams in the division were already scheduled to play at that time, but both teams agreed to switch their time. The AHSAA did not allow the switch and the team forfeited instead of breaking their faith.

I didn't realize either of those individuals was Seventh-Day Adventist.

And that's really what this is about- the AHSAA had someone making the final decision who didn't mind discriminating against the "wrong" kind of Christian.

Read it again. They coordinated with teams in another time slot to switch, but the Athletics Association said no.

So why is god helping all these other sports ball teams who win on Saturdays? I mean he/she is the first person it seems like 90% of players thank in the post game interview. Are you telling me that that is BS, that god isnt really helping them win the game?

Oh they're still going to hell for failure to keep the Sabbath holy.

But God's a sports fan. Remember, we were created in His image, so anything we enjoy, so does He.

You misread this...
"The school reached out to the AHSAA to ask if they could get their game switched to a 7:30 p.m. timeslot. Another pair of teams in the division were already scheduled to play at that time, but both teams agreed to switch their time. The AHSAA did not allow the switch and the team forfeited instead of breaking their faith."

The school didn't refuse.  The sanctioning organization did.  And it would've been an easy accommodation.  Just a case of someone at the AHSAA being a douchenozzle.
