Ok.  What really happened?

2022-02-11 11:29:55 PM
However, in a statement issued Friday he said the injuries "were beyond a simple broken bone and included a severing of numerous ligaments and tendons in my ankle that are going to require greater and longer rehabilitation than I originally hoped would be necessary."

All that in a driveway slip up? I have my doubts but what do I know. I am not a doctor.

How was he polling? Might be another clue here.

Mr. Martin's departure still leaves an unusually large field of Republicans seeking to replace Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf, who is in his second term and therefore ineligible to run again.
Others vying for GOP nomination in the May 17 primary are: Lou Barletta of Luzerne County, Shawn Berger of Carbon County, Guy Ciarrocchi of Chester County, Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman of Centre County, Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale, Charlie Gerow of Cumberland County, Melissa Hart of Allegheny County, Sen. Doug Mastriano of Franklin County, William McSwain of Chester County, Jason Richey of Allegheny County, John Ventre of Westmoreland County, Dave White of Delaware County and Dr. Nche Zama of Northampton County.

What a shiatshow.

I don't doubt it... But at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if there was another compounding reason.

You know it's really interesting that Hillary Clinton hasn't denied her involvement in this guy's injury. Really makes you think.

Low key reminds me of how conspiracy Twitter has been all over Bob Saget's death lately.

Like, yeah, we're delicate little bags of meat. A politician withdrawing after his driveway kicks his ass is not unreasonable in my book.

I don't have any conspiracies about it, but the phrasing of the Saget statement is quite strange. That's the way you'd say it if you were trying to drum up curiosity. I wonder if they considered adding that he was "somewhere" at the time of injury and "somehow" hit his head on the something.

/anyway, yeah, hobbling around to campaign against such a busy field doesn't sound worth the trouble

How convenient. This allows Scott Martin to exit the race without losing it.

Were he a pro grifter who runs to make money while expecting to loose he would have continued to run from his recuperation bed and be wheeled in it to campaign events

he's probably too unknown and not enough of a showman for that to work.

Maybe but every time they say a word they are lying. Every time. So I have my doubts about anything they say.
