Thank you for this. I'll be looking through it to see how many indicators would also potentially apply to left-wing non-violent protesters.

Oh yeah. Anyone involved in the 2020 protests would set off a lot of these, despite intending to be non-violent or intending to counter the violent intent of others. Particularly picking up body armor.

There were a lot of "If I die, catapult my body over the Sacred Fence" type messages.

*sigh* Shiat like this is gonna make it a lot harder to combat and confront fascism in the coming years.

You're welcome. They did have a lot of caveats referring to extremist groups. So if you're a member of a militant environmental group, that will probably set off some alarms. BLM, Pro-Choice, Women's Rights, and non-militant environmental groups - not so much.

The results from questions 3 and 4 are appalling.  Half the country is, at minimum, tolerant of extremism's existence.

On a lighter note, everyone is in agreement that Iran posses some kind of threat.  But overall, Iran rates as a "John Bolton took this survey at least nine times".

The Sacred Fence was literally the best thing about the Portland protests. I'm still laughing at the cops for that one.

For those of you who have no idea what tf we are talking about, the sad, scared little piggies made giant bumblefarking shows of force to protect the hastily thrown-together fencing outside their playpen.

In front of hordes of American teenagers, they did this. I think the Portland Sentient Fence account was up within the hour. A couple days on and it became Sacred. (Around this same time the PNW Gay-Straight Alliance became the PNW Youth Liberation Front and a more together, more hilarious groups of activist kids has yet to be discovered.)

And then the cops got real protective of their holy fence. Lol 'catapult my body over the Sacred Fence' is brilliant humor but yes, one suspects the hard & ready minions of law and order Trumpian fascism may not see it quite the same way.

No, Lady J. I can be pretty inventive when telling stories now and again but not quite that inventive. There may still be an @Sacred Fence Twitter account but if not, surely the PNW-YLF is still up and running.

NYC had a Sacred Fence Jr (half fence). Seattle and Kenosha also had Sacred Fences. DC had the BLM Memorial Fence. Los Angeles had the Magic Yellow Slinky (seriously; I'm so embarrassed).

I can't find any posts quoting the "send me over the Sacred Fence), but a lot of accounts got suspended around that time. @PNWYLF is still active though. So is @SacredFence (for PDX).

Ah, here we go:

That seems to present the results of asking a sample population the question at the top, where each respondent selects one of the eight listed replies, the results are show for the whole and each of 3 orthogonal subgroups, and the values presented are the percentage of each group that provided that response.

Problem is, each one of the 4 groups' values sum up to more than 100, so it can't possibly be that.

I don't have any other guesses as to what data set is.

(In an experiment, half the survey sample was asked about far right extremist groups and the other half about violent white nationalist groups in the United States, yielding similar results.)

JFC.

For each response, the percentage shown is the percentage of respondents who were offered that response, selected that response. That's farking clown shoes.

The GQP is insane. Every rich mfrkker in the USA has a lot of money invested directly or indirectly in China.  The GOP spent decades making them the entire global supply chain since China agreed to keep their people as slaves to suppress wages and increase profits.
The only reason they turned on them is because skilled Chinese labor are now paid the same as US labor, and China doesn't need them anymore for investments.
The idea that a solidly capitalist society like China would attack the USA, a major trading partner, is laughably stupid.  Industrial espionage, yes.
But those who remain in the GQP are not the smartest people.  Heck, China is a lot like what the GQP wants for the US.  Big concentration camps with forced labor to make plastic garbage, with a population composed of religious and ethnic minorities.  Total power in the hands of one person.  Elections decided by the dictator.  Only official state sanctioned religion.  Criminal justice is also controlled by the dictator without independent courts.  Private industry operates at the discretion of the dictator.  What's not to like!

Don't forget the American flag, which I'm seriously starting to believe has replaced porn for these nitwits as a means to jerk off too.  I never thought I'd see the day where a person waving that flag would sicken me but since 2016, I know what it means now

Any pickup owner who put a lift kit on it. Any pickup owner who is still flying a flag from the bed of their truck after 2020, basically, suspect anyone who has a pickup truck that isn't Japanese.
