George W Bush Jr is still the worst President we've had since the Civil War. What a sh*t show he was.

When did we first find out about that whole land war in Asia problem?  And we still did this thing.

Morons.

China has a development plan for the region and it has money to invest

The U.S. has dementia, with anger and violence issues

Not a tough choice.  Obviously China is going to steal everything it can, and everyone knows it. But that's business, make the best deals you can

Personally I'd still go with Reagan than Trump, and I have my doubts about Hoover but hard to argue which turd stinks the most in general...

Tell ya what tho, back in the day conservatives were really stuck on Dubya's knob like they are now with Trump. I was really embarrassed for them.

Hoover farked up but he didn't have the knowledge we do now. Reagan and Bush did.

No shiat.  Soldiers are our next generation.  Military equipment is some of our most expensive technology.  Both are then fed into the grinder, and for what?  No one really wins a war, you're just lucky to lose it a little less than the other side.  Meanwhile, as we throw away personnel, supplies, money, and political capital, everyone else is watching to see if we're weak enough to supplant.

Interested to see if their "building" method works better than our "bombing" method. Seems the people are taking to one more than the other.

The "HMMM MISS ME?" pictures of him I would see always struck me as tone deaf and aggravating.

His administration did arguably just as much long term damage as Trumps. He helped start the trends that got us here, and his wars were naked cash funnels to rich GOP donors and other Rightwing backers that left America gutted.

Everything Trump did he wouldve fine with if he though he could get away with it, and this stupid "redemption arc" that they're trying to force where they go "oh hey he paints now!" is a scam.

He's another GOP dickhead who's getting forced into irrelevance by the Pro-Trump factions and I say "COOL, WHATEVER, LATER JACKASS"

We built plenty of stuff. But, we also blew up a lot of stuff. And we weren't too shy about the whole collateral damage thing.

/ In the end, I think that they will discover that they've traded one shiat foreign entity for a different shiat foreign entity.

Bush and Cheney looked the other way and let 9/11 happen. They didn't know exactly what would happen, but they needed some big event to seize control of a failing presidency. You cannot convince me otherwise.

It boils my bones that the Obamas hugged and kissed this absolute rancid asshole of a human being.

TFG was just a constant Shiatshow but it shouldn't take anything away from W being an absolutely awful President, and farking Cheney, an actual demon from Hell.
And don't forget the proud, dementia ridden, father of them, Ronnie or their crooked grandfather Tricky Dick.

Maybe what I'm saying is that Republican Presidents have just been shiat for a long time and it's really hard to say which dusty coont is worse. I mean, Jesus, what a rotten group of shiatbags.
Satan himself can't stand them.

100% in agreement.  Trump was a rude arsehole but bodycount-wise and horrific policy wise (torture program, extraordinary rendition, the Patriot Act, illegal domestic surveillance , the whole going to war based on a lie and killing hundreds of thousands of people thing) there is no comparison.

Belongs in the Hague.

If the Chinese want Opium War 3 I suggest they call the farking Sacklers.

When he gave Michelle a Werther's and even so-called liberals went "awwww" my faith in humanity died a bit.

Plus I think it was at war mongering piece of shiat and poor pilot John McCain's funeral if I remember correctly.

One of these days y'all might get a wake call that the EU won't always be on your side. Sure it's  not a worry now, Germany spends way less than the 2% GDP Trump wanted. You know the thing all y'all crazies thought was breaking NATO. Any way  never trust the French, but all of the EU and Britain seem to be expansionist.

Purple_Urkle: Do the Kurds know about the Uighurs?

The Islamic world largely has forgotten about the Uyghurs. Turkey, for years, was the country in the region which spoke-up the most and has a significant number of Uyghur expats living there; over the past few years the government has gone quiet about that issue. The Kurds might-- might-- be the only large group in the Middle East which might have a strategic interest aligned with the Uyghurs, but I haven't heard any inkling of that.

The Uyghurs truly are on the ropes.
