Representative John Jacob is a disciple of freedom, and believes personal choice should extend into the doctor's office and pharmacy.

Well then by the same reasoning I should be able to just walk up to a pharmacy and tell them to give me whatever I want, prescriptions be damned.  In fact we should just unschedule all drugs since I know better and am freeererer without some damn doctor's "medical knowledge."

Who's worse: the guy who clearly, literally said 'I am a disciple of freedom' or the reporter stenographer who dutifully transcribed such dreck?

I didn't realize there was a problem getting the stuff. I know at least 12 people who had their doctors prescribe it.

And they all swore they felt better within hours.

You want horse paste? Fine. But first, you have to sign a waiver telling doctors you forfeit your rights to real Covid-19 treatments or a hospital bed when the horse paste shreds your digestive system.

nah, we're always an embarrassment.   I doubt this dumb shiat gets through though, its not religious enough to pass.    our governor was okay for part of the pandemic, put his head in the sand the last 6 months, but he's not the worst.  best recent example is despite there being a budget surplus and all residents are getting a couple extra hundred bucks back, he's not backing tax cuts to go along with it, which is counter to the typical conservative idiot.

so, long story short, he's a conservative idiot but he's not MJT level stupid or joe rogan stupid.

You guys all laugh at these people pushing Ivermectin, but no one is talking about the life quality improvements that come from being horse-worm free.

When was the last time you heard of anyone in Indiana suffering from a crippling case of horse-worms?

They're just opening up interstate trade and creating jobs. Who are you to point an accusing finger to say that a CVS truck filled with lifesaving meds is more of a job that a tweaker van full of Oxy & Adderall?

I finally managed to acquire enough injectable ivermectin to get my herd through Spring shots and possibly Fall. At this point I can say "fark it, let people get their lice-pills from sketchy fake docs and hopefully kill off their whole bloodline in the process." I hope these morons keep buying up all the livestock dewormer from farm stores and using it on their grandkids. When there's enough of a pattern of Facebook Qidiots killing of their family members, I hope the politicians who pushed to allow this stupidity get a few decades in prison to ponder their crimes against humanity.

[sneering deadpan] You wouldn't know "freedom" if it broke its foot off in your ass, you ignorant, lying, farkstain. You reject all responsibility, without which there is no freedom. You don't want "freedom." You want license. License to do whatever comes to mind, without consideration of anything. You, and people like you, John, are the reason we can't have nice things. You are the reason for almost every one of those evil regulations you hate. Because you cannot farking control yourself, so the rest of us have to do it by compulsion.

John Jacob, a 54-year-old Republican from Indianapolis, won a heavily Republican district Nov. 3. In the last two to four years, he posted comments saying that the Islamic faith cannot coexist in the United States, that Muslims are traitors who should be deported, that the Roman Catholic Church is a cult and of Satan, that its parishioners should repent and leave the church, and that the Pope is an anti-Christ.

While Jacob wore a suit and tie Tuesday, he's been a common figure at the Indiana Statehouse the past five years in a different outfit. He's an anti-abortion activist who often dressed in what looked like blood-stained blue medical scrubs. He often wore a partially dismembered child's doll made to look like a bloody aborted fetus attached to a cord around his neck. And he often carried a large and graphic picture of a bloody aborted fetus.

Demanding freedom without the responsibility of consequences is the activity of children.
Demanding other people ignore their own expertise and experience in a realm of knowledge and kowtow to your own irrational demands is simply stupid.

As a Hoosier, I have to say we're usually ignored cause we're never at the forefront of stupidity. We usually just wait for the other dumb-dumb states to do something stupid and then we just follow their lead. That way we rarely make national news.

We are making improvements though. We are the #1 brain drain state. We keep producing educated people only to drive them away to another state through lack of job opportunities for their degrees combined with a culture hostile towards the educated. One day we might drive enough of our intelligent population away to finally compete with Alabama.

Honestly, I'm surprised they're not passing bills requiring automatic prescriptions for ivermectin for every positive COVID test.

/maybe there's not enough financial incentive yet, much like DeSantis and Regeneron.

I'm from Indiana, got educated, left the state permanently in 1996 and there was a joke I am paraphrasing

"Why is Indiana called the Crossroads of America?"

"Because you want to pass through the state as fast as you can so you don't catch their stupidity"

What do you expect from the state that designates Hoosier as the nickname without even knowing where it originated from. I grew up on a pig farm surrounded by the pig ignorant.

I know where district 93 is, it's in the Greenwood area. Lots of trailer parks there. Not surprised they voted this dumbf*ck in. It's about their speed.
