I've used some of the regular stuff as a mixer before.

/The Lime-aide pairs well with Laphroaig 25.

this is my go to courtesy of mom's favorites cookbook.  make the night before so it can freeze up.

1 large can minute maid limeade, lemonade will do as well.
2 limeade cans store brand white rum.
2 limeade cans water.

mix up in a pitcher. i usually put it in lidded mason jars, be sure to leave about an inch of headspace in the jar. freeze overnight. spoon into small cocktail cups with a half a straw to sip with, garnish with a maraschino cherry if youre going fancy.  very potent and very cheap to make.  total cost is maybe ten bucks, easily 10-12 servings and theres usually rum left over.

stick with the measurements, too much rum and it wont freeze, too little and it freezes rock solid...

Once again Coke buys a brand and farks it up because it doesn't really understand how to let successful brands succeed. I miss Odwalla. I will miss Simply

I'll admit I've cheated and used there simply apple juice for making hard cider. Wasn't my best batch but hey I was wondering if it would work

Name checks. And I'm bottling my first cider in a couple weeks. I added a touch of molasses, and thinking of adding a little vanilla when I back carb.

A lowbrow, ridiculously easy margarita recipe that has dropped many a panty:

1 can frozen limeade
1 fifth tequila
1 fifth water
muddled jalapeño optional

Serve on the rocks.  Have your bed made; ladies are thrice as willing to hop right into a neatly made bed for some reason.

Their lemonade is pretty good, but their limeade is AMAZING. Hope they make some flavors with that.

For a 5 gallon batch i brewed up a strong batch of celestial seasonings apple spice tea and added the priming sugar to that. Delicious stuff...
