I'm just hoping Kyle 28 - 3 Shanahan has a plan for being the Chiefs in Superb Owl LVI.

Kyle Shanahan is definitely in Sean McVey's head

Yet somehow, Subby misspells McVay's name. Oy, vey:

McVay would be fine if he showed some balls once in a while.

Case in point: last game against SF.  Rams up, had the ball, only needed to gain 1 first down and then SF would be out of time outs and Rams could run out the clock.

McVey called three run plays up the middle, never straying from that and Rams had to punt, giving SF the ball back.  I guess McVay was hoping his defense would be able to stop them.

They just needed ONE first down.  Could have run outside, or tried a screen pass or any one of dozens of short pass plays that work almost ALL THE TIME. Only needed about 3 yards.

McVay's sack shrivels up, he plays conservatively and gets eaten alive.

That isn't Shanahan's doing.

Same with the Tampa Bay game.  They went super conservative when they were up - if they throw a couple of passes instead of running all the time they probably close that one out much earlier; even with the 4 fumbles.

McVay and Shanahan were in the same coaches room when they worked for The WFT (along with Matt Lafleur)   working as assistants to Jay Gruden.   And this tells you all you need to know about Danny's decision-making

Shanahan was in the previous regime with his father.
