Wow.

I'm not so horrible of a person to wish that on him, despite the protestations of several delusional Steelers fans.

You haven't been on the receiving end of dealing with family with multiple head trauma events and possible CTE either.  Let's just say that would not be a good outcome for anyone around him because they don't just go on their own quietly.

I remember that shortly after all this went down, my mom though it'd be a good idea to buy me a Steelers jersey with #7 on it.  I was like, "I am not wearing that."

She was always buying me stupid shjt I didn't want, and at that time my mindset was just to tolerate her overly gifting ways cause she was my mom, so I was glad to have a legitimate excuse to refuse a gift.  Didn't stop her from trying to convince me he didn't do anything.  Yes, she is an anti-vaxxer and Trumper today, perhaps I should've seen the writing on the wall then.

What we know about the 2nd incident is that, even if it didn't fulfill the legal definition of rape, he at the very least got oral sex from a woman who was so drunk that she couldn't consent. Which, yeah, is obviously not something people should be doing

And I say "doesn't fulfill the legal definition of rape" because the DA in the case really seemed like he wanted to go after Ben but couldn't so he just aired out all of the stuff he did

I still don't know why in the world Ben Roethlisberger would have been in Milledgeville, GA.

Maybe he was interested in it's history as a former State Capitol for Georgia and your one of the many Kaolin mines in the area.

Or he just trawls small college town bars to play celebrity for an evening and pick up naive young girls.

Funny (?) enough, Bruce Arians suggested buying a house in the area. I forget why, but Arians is the reason he had a place there

As someone from Georgia and who has lived all over the state, What connection would Arians have to Milledgeville and what makes that one so special. He can get hunting land and/or privacy closer to Atlanta or Savannah.  Anything is better than having Macon as your nearest big city for amenities.

We could open up a HoF for all these statues.  First inductions:  JoePa, The Black Mamba and Big Ben.  All statues must come with a butthole to be stuffed without permission in order to qualify.

Mixon entered an Alford plea to a misdemeanor assault charge in October 2014 for punching Amelia Molitor, breaking bones in her face and resulting in hospitalization and surgery. The incident happened on July 25, 2014, a day after Mixon turned 18, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Yeah he's a farking saint. And the Bengals actually drafted him knowing all of that.

Joe Mixon punched a woman. Ben Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault twice. One is way worse than the other. They're not the same.

What Joe did was absolutely wrong. He was suspended for a year from the Sooners. It hurt his draft stock and cost him a bunch of money. At least Joe paid a price... what was Ben's punishment, a handful of games and then everything gets swept under the rug?

I hated the Joe Mixon pick when they drafted him. HATED it. I had zero interest in seeing that guy play for the team I root for and once he was picked I looked at him with a zero tolerance policy. Since being drafted by the Bengals, the dude has been a saint. He hasn't been in any trouble and nobody's had a single bad word about the guy. He's been one of the most laid back and positive guys on the team for years. While I don't know the guy personally and my view into his life is pretty limited, it at least seems like the guy learned from the biggest mistake of his life and came out of it on the other side a better person, which is what you want to see from a guy like that. Joe's taken responsibility and ownership of his actions. I have no trouble rooting for the man he seems to be now, and I think comparing him to someone accused of sexual assault is quite frankly a pretty unfair comparison.

Hell, I think putting him in the same breath as Tyreek Hill is unfair. Tyreek has multiple accusations of domestic abuse, which I tend to view as something that is probably more than a one time occurrence. Tyreek allegedly beat and threatened a child. That's *way* worse than what Mixon did.

So what? By all accounts Ben has been a model citizen since the last incident and that was over a decade ago. You pick a known criminal as a draft pick you don't get to act all high-and-mighty about other teams' alleged criminals

Two alleged rapes are exactly the same thing as one physical assault (which could have been the result of shiat talking and losing temper), we get it.  That's why yinz are so upset about Myles Garrett, he's exactly the same as twice accused rapist Ben Roethlisberger.

Guess we can't punch Nazis either because that's the same thing as being Ben Roethlisberger.

Also I literally just noticed your parenthesis, which indicates that you think punching a woman in the face is okay if she shiat talks. Well, your moral high-ground (if it existed) is gone forever. Cool

By the way, I'm not claiming moral high-ground. I'm claiming teams with almost equally dirty players shouldn't be so smug
