LOL at the article using Seinfeld in the headline to get clicks. IMDB credits her with appearing in 2 episodes as "Counter woman." She was basically an extra.

She had lines.  So she's "beloved Seinfeld cast member"

Don't know her or of her, though presumably I did see her on Seinfeld.  I only post here for the opportunity to say:

Fark cancer.  (And also fark the stupid fark filter for preventing an appropriate use of the word fark).

That makes more sense, for some reason I was thinking she was the lady that George dated that said she would come to him if she needed a discount on a box of nails.

More than an extra.  She had not just lines, but she had conflict.  Outside of the main 4 characters, there are two types of characters - those the main 4 menace, and those who menace the main 4.  She's in the latter.  She made them wait forever and then sold them a cake with a hair in it.  She wouldn't take it back and told them to F off.  Classic Seinfeld menace.

Also Teenage Exorcist with Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes) and Eddie Deezen.

Hell's Bells, the '90s were a weird time in cinema.

Literally every actor who's ever appeared for even a bit part on Seinfeld is listed as a 'Seinfeld' actor in their obituary.  It's very very weird.

Some are actually fairly well known as their characters on Seinfeld even if they only appeared in a couple episodes... but then you have weird ones like the random guy who played the Mohel on 'The Bris', his only appearance (and he appears in the episode for only a few minutes) who died a few years ago or the doctor who was the 'assman' (and he appeared in that episode for like 10 seconds at the end) who died very recently and they go 'SEINFELD STAR!'

Nothing will ever be worse than that time George Carlin died and the headline of one UK tabloid just referred to him as a "Bill and Ted actor."

/Except maybe when Patrick McGoohan died and an entire article managed to not mention "The Prisoner."

FTFA:

She had a recurring role in the '90s sitcom "Seinfeld," starring alongside Jerry Seinfeld and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

She was in two episodes.

Sure, you might know him as a winner of a Tony and multiple Emmys, but he'll always be Dr. Tim Whatley to me.

No, that was Carol Ann Susi, she died of cancer back in 2014.  She was also the voice of Howard's mother on The Big Bang Theory.

/Hey, another beloved Seinfeld cast member who died of cancer.  Coincidence?

Not many comedy shows at the time had shows about jerking off, cunnilingus and penis shrinkage, who wouldn't want to be associated with it.
