Kind of sad this didn't get as much publicity as Cal Ripken Jr.'s when he broke baseball's Iron Man streak. I remember watching that on TV.

This is pretty much the only thing remotely interesting involving the Flyers this year.

2) Baseball desperately needed something positive.

Gary Roberts was on Spittin' Chicklets one time and talked about Phil joining his gym.  According to him, he was spotting for Kessel one day on single leg split squats, Phil has 330 pounds on his back and the whole time he's looking over at James Neal and chirping him like crazy.  I don't know about his dietary habits, but dude is in way better shape than people think.
