Sanders might be a socialist, but he's a socialist trying to do things for his countrymen.

I think the way Machine thinks is not indicative of what a lot of America thinks either.

No pretense about using political power to make people's lives better. Just a pissing contest about who people like more.

Let's pretend that inflation wasn't caused by pumping trillions into the economy and pump trillions more.

Leave it to a republican who cannot tell the difference between 'helping your neighbor' as commanded by their "god" to state communism

Wow. He's just using all the Republican talking points now. Makes you wonder if he's really a Republican or trying to help them huh? Nahhhh, that can't be true or else he'd vote against Biden's agenda. Oh wait.

"Well Senator Sanders is not a Democrat...He's a socialist... It's not what I think the majority of Americans represent."

You sure about that Joe?

70% of Americans now support Medicare-for-all
That includes 85 percent of Democrats and 52 percent of Republicans. Only 20 percent of Americans say they outright oppose the idea.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/28/most-americans-now-support-medicare-for-all-and-free-college-tuition.html

Similarly, according to the Reuters poll, 79 percent of Democrats and 41 percent of Republicans say they support tuition-free college, amounting to 60 percent overall.

If the money supply grows at a faster rate than the economy's ability to produce goods and services, then inflation will result. It's really very simple.

I see what you've done there. You've mistakenly assumed that by 'Americans' Manchin was referring to all of the people of the United States. I can assure you this is not the case. When Manchin says 'Americans' he means energy industry executives and other major Manchin donors exclusively.

or that it wasn't caused by short-term thinking idiots that put zero thought into how to ramp back up after the pandemic started to ease.

If you ever needed proof that companies and their leadership do not think long term and are only about the $$$ RIGHT THIS MINUTE, here is your proof

Would guess manchin probably votes more along party lines than Bernie

The reason that so many corporate Democrats absolutely loathe Sanders is because he actually stands for what the DNC used to stand for which is the poor and middle class. The corporate wing took control in 1992 with the election of Clinton and it's been a race for corporate dollars and self enrichment ever since.

The corporate wing has gotten completely detached from reality. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they ran Clinton again.

Well, yes, in America, Sanders is a socialist. But y'all call your corporatists "Democrats" and your plutocrats "Republicans", so I'm not sure the label particularly means much.
