Innocent people testify under oath without fear, only using the 5th Amendment to prevent getting caught in complex legal entanglements.

Guilty people plead the 5th continuously.

Dear Jesus.

Me and you have always been cool. I think you know this - despite the fact that I never put much stock in the charlatans that sully your good name with empty ritual and cash rakes.

I read these books, you used to do things that seemed to me, a little bit of an indulgence to spite. I feel like you are a dude who knew enough to let himself lose his temper when it came to a certain type of people.

My brother I submit to you: Alex Jones is definitely that type of person, right?

Amen

Are you trying to tell me that they're not sacrificing a child via the burning of the effigy of the cares of the elite to the great owl god Muloch in return for more power and wealth?!

I'll need you to bring receipts to convince me of such an absurd claim.

OMG, you are right; he said that "he told nothing", so he totally ratted them out.

2022-01-26 12:37:34 AM
He then went on his show and said that he didn't know the answer to half the questions.  Which means he pleaded the 5th to 50 questions he didn't know the answer to.  So he didn't incriminate himself of guilt, just stupidity.

2022-01-26 12:38:05 AM
Since this is Alex Jones saying this I am thinking he either didn't plead the 5th once or he did a 1000 times.  No way he is telling the truth

For real, he has resting hypertension face and spends all day screaming at a camera. If only we could all have that staunch refusal to die without also being raging assloons.

still goes on this infowars program and incriminates himself the very same day

:/   I can't find his appearance before the committee on C-SPAN. I want to watch it. I've never listened to his show, but his testimony would  be interesting.

Pleading the fifth is not an admission of guilt.

Broadcasting your crimes for months and years on various media platforms is.

Alex Jones is human garbage.

But still, I'd like to remind people that pleading the fifth isn't only about not telling people you crimed, but also about not giving any evidence that might make it look like you crimed.

People seem to forget that a lot. Innocent people can still have things that make them look guilty.

Wait, what happened to all of the constitutional super patriotism Jones and his ilk spouts off about?
Is his version of constitutional patriotism somehow ileagal and admitting it would be  constitutionally and lawfully incriminating?

Glad I never fell into his rabbit hole of warped stupidity.

There's also crimes not even federal prosecutors know about until they look them up, which they will if you give them anything to look into.

You libs wank yourselves to sleep with your fantasies about Alex Jones being incarcerated, but the joke's on you.  Those questions he was asked?  The ones where he took The Fifth?  He can't be prosecuted for those crimes now.  It's done.  There's no evidence.  Fifth, bruh.  Read up on it.

2022-01-26 1:16:24 AM
The best part? It'll likely avail him naught. The guy can't keep his mouth shut, and what he's said in public is more than enough to destroy his attempt at avoiding self-incrimination.

I must admit I'm confused why more folks charged with firearms offences just don't plead The Second. And for that matter, can't you just get out of basically anything by getting a note from your pastor saying it's okay and then pleading freedom of religion aka The First?

I like the fifth amendment. As tempting as it is for me to look at people I don't like and yell "guilty guilty guilty" I still believe they have a right against self incrimination.

I wonder how many jurors feel like you do and have held pleading the fifth against people? Any number greater than zero is too many.

Quite right. Invoking the fifth amendment should on no way be assumed to be an admission of guilt. Unless it's Alex Jones, in which case it absolutely should.

2022-01-26 1:57:25 AM
Self incrimination?  What crimes are you involved in then?  I mean, 100 times is being pretty insistent that you're involved in some shady shiat.  You don't plead the 5th because Congress asked you to verify basic information about yourself.  I'd love to see this interview.

I hate Alex and conservaturds, but this is not true. You can be completely innocent (Alex is not) and get railroaded.

A little slow for the first few minutes. Then it gets very important to know. No matter how much you know you will never do anything wrong. They don't care about that. They need a suspect.

I have to admit, it was rather sly of modern Nazis to replace the word Jew with "globalist."  All the Nazis know exactly who they are referring to. It's like the whole Brandon thing. They're well aware that they can't say many of their beliefs out loud so they've come up with a completely different language.
