My kid was about 3 when he was building a single block really tall tower of legos.  The inevitable happened, it collapsed and he said "aw fuck"

Same thing happened with my son at that age. When his tower collapsed he said what he always heard daddy say. "Gaaadammit!" My wife started laughing and told me that it was my own fault. I replied that he also knows mommy's favorite word. With that my son stepped on a Lego and loudly yelled out "Fark!" I walked away saying, "He learned that one from you. You deal with it."

When visiting my sister it's rough when one of the kids has a meltdown, mostly because that just sucks but partly because while they're actually pretty good at not using language inappropriately most of the time, when they lose it they are foul. And cussing children will never not be funny to me.

Know a guy whose ten year old apparently inherited his great-grandfather's Navy-influenced vocabulary- truly swears like a sailor. Thing is, kid's like Al Swearingen- a Shakespeare of profanity. Rapid fire but perfectly lined up and cohesive.

I about die any time I witness it.
