It appears that there is a VMWare cracker from 2012 in one of the photos that has been helpfully highlighted by the actors.

He's not Mussolini? Lukashenko actually makes the trains run on time?

Lukashenko is nothing but a Putin puppet who is just waiting for word from Pooty-poot to re-form the glorious Soviet Union (pooty-poot just needs to crush the various ex-Soviet -stans as well as the Baltic states and, most importantly, the breadbasket of the Soviet Union, the Ukraine).

Not entirely. Hacktivists don't have to be hackers, not all hackers are hacktivists.

Mussolini was a fool when it came to strategy and logistics.

The idea that "the trains ran on time" was a complete myth using Potemkin lines near Rome.

Italy barely defeated Ethiopia and had to resort to chemical weapons.

His attempt to invade France and carve off a piece for Italy was almost a French victory, even at a time when their armies were disintegrating against the Wermacht.

His ambitions in the Balkans created such a disaster, Germany had to squander resources to help secure the region from third-rate forces.

So, Lukashenko is actually ahead of Mussolini for the moment.

"hacktivist" is a portmanteau.  if they are not both activists AND hackers, they are not "hacktivists"

I know the word's origins, but hacktivists have never been solely hackers. It refers to anyone who uses technology to engage in activism.

See the recent leak of Patriot Front by Unicorn Riot. That's hacktivism, but did not require hacking.

If it is a Western nation doing it using local Belarussians for deniable plausibility, that's fine by me. That's the sort of shiat Russia does to the rest of the world, we need to give it right back to them.

This.

And people think autocrats have a lot more control than they do. Belarusian democratic activists have been mobilizing against Lukashenko for a while now.

Putin uses unpopular puppets, which means they don't necessarily have the necessary power to achieve his agenda. Like Trump.

Makes me wonder if NATO countries aren't conducting cyber attacks as well. Like Israel and the US did with Iran.  I know Putin wants a shooting war (or at least a land grab) but the keyboard can be stronger than the MiG.
