Players should just stomp the guy out. New rule: if you run out onto the field of play during a game, any players and officials are allowed to beat your ass. You get your 15 seconds of fame, but you have to spend 3 weeks in the ICU.

That fan shows that you always get an idiot like that at every game and they would do something for our entertainment.

The security guard made a better tackle than Diggs. Of course, Diggs was probably just making a "business decision" instead.

Would have preferred seeing BUF #73 step up and lay the guy out. No flag for landing on the guy with your full body weight...

I mean, he took off his shoe and chucked it. That's hilarious if not very badass.

The NFL is glad he took something off of that hit, I'm sure. Sending people to the hospital on a gurney is not good no matter who they are.

Let the beatings happen out of sight later...

CSB:

One of my friends is an executive at a large IT reseller and brokered the deal to install all the WiFi hotspots at Lincoln Financial Field in Philly. Part of that deal also included a ridiculous number of security cameras, a petabyte of storage, and facial recognition software that would make the NSA cum in their pants. Thats why there are signs plastered all over the stadium saying that by entering the property, you consent to being photographed, video recorded, etc. They know within seconds of a person entering a gate whether or not they are on the exclusion list and can send guards and cops to grab them before they even hit the concourse. People have tried getting through with disguises and hats/hoodies pulled down, etc and the cameras get them every time. Its the definition of Orwellian.

What makes it even creepier is they also track you and profile you and mine that data. They know where you go, what concessions you buy, when you go to take a piss, when you like to leave, etc. The more Eagles games you attend, the bigger your "customer profile" (hence the petabyte of storage). He told me there isnt anywhere you can go in that stadium (other than bathroom stalls) that isnt being recorded and there isnt anything you can do that isnt being tracked and mined.

No kidding.  If  you ever see a Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc. branded camera for sale, don't buy it unless you want to share with them every detail that camera sees.  "Facebook also holds a number of patents to use facial recognition for targeted advertising and other purposes."

Most Pro stadiums in the US are like that now. I remember years ago reading an article about Dodger Stadium and all of their cameras. They were saying that previously, one of the news channels did a special about them installing the cameras and explained how they were connected to the state's databases and their facial recognition capabilities. Well, they said as a result of that news story, violent and criminal incidents dropped dramatically because they figured people that were wanted stopped coming to the games because they were afraid that they would be caught because of the facial recognition software.

Both you guys are SOFT AF!!  I say we allow players to be able to pull the tendons out of these guys legs and then strangle them with the tendons.

Then after they are dead, we can post their heads on top of the yard markers, as a warning, nay, as a FARKING PROMISE to others that may dare to trespass against us in our house!

I love that it actually made it on the broadcast...obviously on accident. But still...they show the shot of the line before they line up and there was sudden commotion. Obviously they cut away immediately.

But if I'm that fan, I'm taking that story of getting knocked down by Diggs and owning every party for the rest of my life.

Let me stress...if I was THAT FAN. A guy who would run out on the field. Not me, who may have thrown an empty cup at a security guard from two stories up as my worst fan misbehavior.

Unsure of the dudes current age, but i suspect under 30, and by 30-35, any party he goes to and tells that story with any sense of "IT WAS SO COOL!" attitude will be met with "so you're an idiot dumbass moron? good to know"

I guess you haven't been to the same parties as the ones that guy goes to. They'll be riveted. He'll be a hero.

Again...not parties I'd have fun at, but they exist. If you could go to parties with people you'd never be friends with, you'd see.
