And that's with us factoring in states that aren't reporting for political reasons.

Yabbut but it's not 100% perfect so obviously it's a failure. Thanks Obama.

I just got my KN95 masks on Friday and sent my kids to school this morning with them. I'm not happy that they're way too tight and put a lot of pressure behind the ears.

Hey mask makers, some of us have heads the size of watermelons.

Amazing that the anti-mask movement is getting so much traction.

Just shows what you can do with tons of propaganda and behind the scenes manipulation driven by tons of dark money.

My wife made a bunch of these for her aunts who are nurses.

This is what's called "being part of the solution" instead of "being part of the problem".  We need more people like her!

Agreed.

Google "mask extenders."

"Facts not fear"
"KIDS CAN'T BREATHE!!!!"

Like that woman holding a "Ban CRT" sign while wearing a freedom of speech shirt.
Completely oblivious.
Sigh.

Or "ear savers."

Once when I had a day of meetings that involved far more mask wearing than I had anticipated I pulled a carabiner off my keychain and used that. If stretched out the earloops so much I had to throw the mask away later but saved me a headache.

CSB: In the fall, here in GA the schools couldn't do mask requirements. But they found a loophole: If your kid was exposed, you got a phone call and could choose whether your kid quarantined via "actual stay home and do online class" quarantine or "quarantine in class" where they just kept going to school, but had to wear a mask.

The high school is around 1750 kids. After a few days, within the first week of class, we got a call from our daughter. She was sitting in the auditorium with ~100 other kids all having to decide to quarantine or wear a mask. A week later, it was 300+ kids that had been exposed. The vast majority chose to wear a mask.

SHOCKINGLY the exposures went down significantly once half the school was masked up. I choose to believe that this was the work of a savvy group of teachers figuring out a way to get everyone masked up regardless of the idiocy of our governor, but it's equally as likely that this was the bare minimum plan and we just got lucky.

Lies and slander. I have been informed by countless internet researchers that masks are just as ineffective as the vaccine and they are only being required to condition the populace to accept more government control so Jade Codpiece XIIIVII can cull the population.

I would suggest trying the South Korean KF94s, they seem to have more sizes and I'm something like a 7 5/8th hat size (bigger than one size fits most) and found them comfortable

Also KF94s are less likely to be knock offs

Both KF94 and KN95 have over ear loops while the N95 standard calls for bands that go all the way around your head

The US still hasn't created a N95 but for non medial users, even tho 3M tried to force it

Would help to have easier fitting masks for those that aren't going to fit test

My kids' school requires masks while on school property.  Still, they're sitting in the same room all day, and I really would have expected that the net effect in the enclosed volume given the duration would be fairly small.

I'm happy to hear the protective value is better than I thought.

My kid's school requires masks. We've had maybe 10 cases during this surge and no in-school transmission.

Anecdotes are not data but this seems like clear evidence that masks work (biatches).
