The website seems to be down most of the time, so I'll past the lede.

The technology was complicated, but the plan was simple: Scan mail-in and absentee ballots in populous Maricopa County, remove the "invalid votes," and recertify the state's 2020 election count, surely declaring then-President Donald Trump the rightful winner.

This scheme to subvert the election outcome in Arizona is laid out in newly released emails obtained by Rolling Stone. Sent in early December 2020, the emails cover a critical moment when the post-election push by Trump and Republican allies to find fraud and overturn the presidential election was in full swing.

The emails show how a group of fringe election sleuths pressed state legislators on a plan to disrupt the 2020 election certification and potentially change the vote count in a battleground state that helped deliver Joe Biden the presidency. The emails also reveal that several Trump advisers, including campaign lawyer Jenna Ellis and legal adviser Bernie Kerik, were included in the discussion.

You know, we had a way of dealing with groups like this in Iraq and Afghanistan. Just saying.

I have no problem with political differences. I can listen to people rant about abortion and taxes as theft and all that crap. Sometimes they get power and their laws hurt us and we rally together to vote them out and change it back.

But these people are just f*cking terrorists at this point. And we do not negotiate with terrorists.

/Yeah, I know we always do anyway.

Define "invalid " votes.

Nice try, libs. I'm pretty sure if there were election improprieties in Arizona that Cyber Ninjas would have found them.

All these scandals about fixing the election at state level, what a clown show.  None the less, the clown show was very disruptive to the process.

In the two years between 2020 and 2022, the clown show has expanded into a circus.

Wait a second.  Are you saying that members of a criminal gang have been acting like criminals and breaking the law?

Wake me when they're in an orange jumpsuit conga line.

Should have gone with the Army of white people from out of state demanding they stop counting ballots.  But you didn't want to pay airfare, did you?

Pissed off Bolton or he would have stomped in there and taken over the count.   Probably could have phone it in to Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona and a couple of other states.  "You sit on your hands until I get there.  If you count another Biden ballot, you'll never work for a Republican again!"

They did but Hunter Biden slid one oh his laptops in to Cyber Ninja's offices and the ninjas were tricked in to entering all of the facts and evidence in to that one laptop and shredding all backups.  Then, Hunter just turned that laptop in the Geek Squad for an acid wash.  $49.95 at Best Buy and you can play the xBox while U wait.  You're a customer.  They gotta let you.

Oh, good. Now that we finally have evidence I'm sure everyone involved will face consequences!

Surely though, Trump and his people left no incriminating link directly to themselves. They seem to run a tight ship. Tomorrow: gun found at murder scene has Rudy Gooliani engraved on it.

Hell, I will provide the hammers.  I can EDM burn "Looser" into the hammer head for added effect.

New rule: Anyt time a news article about the coup references the involvement of someone who was pardoned by Donald J Trump, this has to be pointed out in the same sentence.

So, for the ANGH Eeyores, here's what it takes to "make something happen" in a Federal case. Bear in mind that the Feds do not bring a case to trial unless they're pretty sure they will win.

1. Crime committed. The crime has to be an actual crime enumerated in the US Code, not just "that should be a crime!"
2. Crime investigated. There has to be a causal chain between the crime and the defendant and each of those links has to be connected to another link at both ends. It's not enough to say "???" because that's where the defense attorneys go to win.
3. Indictment.
4. Arrest. This is where the Oaf Keepers are now.
5. Pretrial motions. There are lots of pretrial motions that can be filed, and each of them may be heard at a separate hearing. Some of the likely motions we will hear are:
Motion to dismiss charges, Motion to suppress evidence, Constitutional challenge, Motion for a bill of particulars, Motion to change venue, Motion to compel production of evidence, Motion in limine, Motion to strike, Severance motions, and assorted other motions as more evidence comes to light.
6. Discovery. Along with discovery, there is production of documents (see pretrial motions) and deposition of witnesses.
7. Evidentiary hearings. As discovery goes along, there will be hearings to examine the evidence. Motions in limine are often included here.
8. Case Management Conferences. The attorneys have to meet with the judge periodically to discuss how the case is going and coordinate further court dates.
9. Trial setting conference.
10. Jury selection. This includes probably another motion to change venue, jury pool challenge, and focus groups to assess the jury opinions on the case.
11. Motion for sequestration.
12. Trial. Yay! Now something is starting to happen.
13. Sentencing. It's all over but the whining.

So strap in, kiddies. Not only will it take a long long time, but you will NEVER SEE MOST OF IT HAPPEN. Nobody bothers to let you know that there was a 12(b) motion filing in the Oaf Keepers case today (which there likely was) or would tell you what it meant if they did.

I know this won't shut the Eeyores up, but everyone else can keep it in mind.

There is going to be so much ratfarking in 2022 and 2024 that it will boggle the mind, and if the people doing it aren't prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, then eventually they're going to succeed, if they aren't succeeding already (you don't hear about the ones who don't get caught) after that, expect approval ratings of 90% for the GQP, similar to Russia and every other dictator democracy on the planet.

And then you'll have the largest most advanced military force this planet has ever seen in the hands of grifters and white supremacists with no mechanisms for legal removal.

That'll be fun.

In the mean time, if the Army could could pull this guys retirement pension, that'd be great. Thx.

"Most of the new emails - first obtained by the watchdog group American Oversight and provided to Rolling Stone - were written by a man named Phil Waldron. A retired Army colonel"

Seriously, wondering if they could. Any Farkers know enough to enlighten us?

A Russian circus, with the republicans as dancing bears.

You have the entire GOP fully behind the obstruction of justice on the GOP and Russia, while they vacation in Leningrad, for the 4th of July no less...
(you can't make up public displays of treason better than these so called "patriotic" republicans.)

How the FARK does this work? If I crease my ballot next time I vote, am I committing election fraud? WTF?

Especially not in AZ.  In fact, those people are likely to be rewarded for their efforts.

More likely, flagged for "not republican"; that means the system did "not see" your vote.

No charges for 151 Arizona votes vetted over fraud claims (wtvm.com)

If the Republicans in the Arizona senate would listen to the county elections officials and the state elections boards instead of email chains from rando grifting conspiracy theorists, that by the way a 5 minute google foo would show said grifters as having been discredited and caught lying and grifting many times before, they could have avoided giving a no-bid blank check contract to a company that never did an election audit before.

There is so, so much privilege in this statement. What you see as "political differences" are literally the difference between life and death for many other Americans. Including abortion. It's nice that you can rest reasonably comfortable that these "political" changes aren't going to affect you and you'll carry on, but many people don't get that luxury.
