So, about $7.98 in actual damages, basically?

Studios seem to think grabbing talent that attracts audiences is important. They should probably follow through if they're bragging about it.

The last time I was in a porno shop years ago, there was a DVD that said "Guarantee! Every model on cover appears in this DVD!" Universal isn't as honest as your average porn studio.

And another thing. Anyone who cuts Ana de Armas from their film needs.to never work in the business ever again.

More of a dig at the idea of suing for $5.9m for something that barely registers on the personal injury scale of excellence (tm)...

Something that doesn't affect you in any way whatsoever. The system provides for a redress of claims and grievances in courts of law. That's how an organized society subject to the rule-of-law (or whatever's left of it nowadays) works.

But when taxpayers who are not part of the class action has to pay for the trial which only benefits the attorneys, there should be some discretion in allowing frivolous claims such as this. Unless she was supposed to get full frontal in which I say I hope they throw the book at them.

If that scene had been produced post-Yoga Hosers, I'd give decent odds to him doing exactly that.

Thats what I thought watching Bond. She was in the trailer longer than she was in the film. And I watched the trailer a lot. And in slow motion.

You send what you have off to the trailer company, and you sometimes have to cut story lines and scenes at the final stage.

My apologies for interrupting the smoke show. But here's a different smoke show. I remember the trailer for Cheech Marin born in East LA and a future to clip that wasn't in the movie. I was a kid and it bothered the heck out of me. And if you're wondering it's the last clip of the trailer.

There's also the fake parody trailer of an academy award winning movie that had the same scene only in trailer.

I've seen many trailers that should have carried this warning.  And then there's the trailers that contain every interesting scene for the entire movie and you find out after sitting for two hours watching filler.

It destroys their case. They were saved from watching James Corden, which is a more than fair trade-off.

7th Son of a 7th Son: She was phenomenal in Knives Out.

Am I the only person who wasn't impressed with her performance? Don't get me wrong, she was just fine, but I didn't leave the theater going, "That was great, but that Ana de Armas, she was really something in that." In fact, I couldn't figure out why she was cast against so many gigantic names, as I didn't see anything particularly exceptional about her in the movie.

All I know is that Daniel Craig really liked working with her.

I did have to imdb a bit to find who the cutie pie was but the cinematography is what I remember. She was functional.

I'm with you on that one.  I enjoyed the movie.  It was fun, occasionally clever.  A rare treat these days to see a star-studded cast.  Armas can be a good actor in addition to being gorgeous, but there wasn't really anything for her in this movie to stretch her acting chops on.

In fact, I'll go you one further and say Daniel Craig -- an actor I really enjoy -- does an atrocious Southern accent in both Knives Out and Logan Lucky and everyone seems to love it.

I love it b/c it's so bad. I really hope he does some other, random accent (Australian? New England? French?) in the sequel, w/ no explanation whatsoever.

She was absolutely hands down without hype or hyperbole the only possible reason for paying money to watch No Time to Die. She's cute as a button and adorbs af but holy smokes did she ever steal that entire sequence from everyone else on screen.
