Maneskin's "new" to the U.S. (I say that cause looking online there are recording of them doing it in 2017) song getting airplay now is good, looking forward to seeing if they bring something new to the performance on SNL.   Between them and Bleachers last week (even if they were a replacement for a rap guy), can't recall two weeks in a row on SNL with Alt Chart artists.

Tonight's rerun is Charles Barkley; Kelly Clarkson - Season 37 Episode 11.

Either the SNL leaders that be had something out against Saget, or they all just really hate that 1995 season so much that they didn't run his episode last week or this week for the 10p rerun.

There's something about seasons 6-29 (the Saget episode is part of that) that must have some hinky intellectual property licensing problem, because you can't get them streaming on Hulu, and you never have. You can get 1-5 and 30-46, but not the others.

Peacock carries all the seasons, but they've never been on Hulu.

Psst they're here. They've been available for some time, bur those seasons got held up because people just kept on buying box sets, or everything they saw.

I know they're there, that's why I said "Peacock carries all the seasons."

But when they run reruns they seem to avoid the same block of shows that aren't licensed on Hulu, so it makes me wonder what's going on behind the scenes.

Eh, it's all good. I only signed up for Peacock because I wanted to watch the new MacGruber series. Then I made the mistake of letting my brothers have my login, and when I cancelled the service after watching the show their backlash reached such epic levels my mother had to get involved. I'd like to note I'm almost 50 years old.

I'd also like to note that both of my brothers make just as much money as I do, so bringing Mom into the argument was particularly petty.

Anyone else a bit wary of Forte hosting? MacGruber was OK, but I mostly disliked his other characters and sketches. He's like proto-Kyle to me.

Which is too bad, because I've mostly liked his work since SNL.

I like him a lot, but he definitely has an off-kilter sense of humor. I expect a few very weird sketches tonight. I also think the ratings won't be that great.

Other than the too large cast, I think SNL has been pretty good these last few years.

Eh, Fallon is a different type of bad. He just acted like he was too clever and cool, and would purposely try to break the sketch.

OK, yeah, Tim Calhoun was also good.

I read years ago somewhere that the 1995 season is considered the second worst of all time after the 80-81 season, so I can totally believe that.  In the same article Michael McKean said something like that some nights after the shows that season he thought people were going to attack him in the street the shows were so bad.
