Oh good, a quasi-governmental agency has jumped on the latest blockchain fad. Maybe they'll be as successful as Ubisoft with it.

The USPS is now a "brand," and they've decided that "mailin' it!" should be their slogan. Thanks, I hate it!

Absolutely. I have no problem with the USPS, all things considered. They've been sabotaged almost to death by assholes who want to privatize everything. Meanwhile, the private company, FedEx, is farking terrible, because it's run by race-to-the-bottom franchisee motherfarkers in the cheapest, worst ways possible.

I can see it now. The gas charge is practically zero, but the transaction might just not validate if you buy in the quarter before or after Christmas.

A drunken hobo on a BMX bike carrying a package in one hand and a 40 of Mickey's in the other is more reliable than FedEx.

The last few FedEx deliveries I've had spent an extra week or so going around in a circle between IN, IL, and MT before reaching the escape velocity they needed to reach OR. I like to imagine the packages were having some Pixar like adventure and that the real tracking numbers were the friends they met along the way.

The last delivery we had from FedEx we had to pick up themselves because they:

1. Could not leave it at our door
2. Could not leave in the locker for that exact purpose
3. Could not leave it in the overflow closet for that exact purpose
4. Could not leave it with the front desk which is there during business hours on weekdays
5. Could not leave it in the lobby

Like, their entire purpose in life is to deliver packages and they fail at it. Miserably.

People this incompetent should not be allowed to drive trucks much less be let out on their own without adult supervision. I'd prefer a drone. I'd prefer a carrier pigeon.

FedEx is the worst.

Weren't Bernie and Warren pushing for the USPS to start offering banking services? What ever happened to that idea, it sounded terrific and not at all like a potential catastrophe in the making.

Even with DeJoy trying to break down the entire system, I have still had zero issues with USPS and would choose them over FedEx, UPS, or DHL in a heartbeat.

They need to expand into banking and finally get rid of DeJoy and get back to normal

/then eliminate that stupid 2006 pension funding sabotage
//and knock off this NFT bullshiat

Yep. And fix what ever is going on in the Harrisburg Pa. shipping center. I swear they have a mule or some such creature kicks packages really hard, big dents. Sure, I show the local post office the damage-they shrug and say-"Yeah, that's a problem in Harrisburg". Huh? "Nope, no fixin' it, it's a problem in Harrisburg". Of course DeJoy's meddling here in Pennsyltennarkatucky has slowed everything down delievery wise-sometimes mail shows up on Sundays.....not sure why. Or not at all for a few days, then a large stack of mail.

Do they do a lot of last-mile delivery? Sounds like a FedEx or UPS handled package that made it to the USPS damaged and they cannot do anything about it.

Since cryptocurrency became a thing some years ago, I've had at least three people explain what it is all about. And these are people who are experienced in crypto. None of it still made sense.

The thing I do understand is that it has cause GPUs  to cost a lot more than the rest of the other components of a self-built desktop. If you can even find a GPU in stock anyways.

If only there was another government agency, some kind of library maybe, that helps with registering copyrights and trademarks.

FedEx has been dropping the ball the last year a lot. Sent something to one of our offices it was picked up and that is the last we saw of it. According to the FedEx website it is still on the truck heading to the airport.

Better yet, how about if our government finally unshackled the USPS from the bullsh*t 2007 Republican requirement that they fully fund the retirements of employees who haven't been born yet?

This would free up A LOT OF MONEY that's currently locked up uselessly and would allow the post office to get out of the business of constantly fundraising by issuing novelty stamps and other nonsense, and focus solely on improving their actual important services.

Also, if someone could run Louis DeJoy's fat, smirking ass through a mail sorting machine, that would be great.

That doesn't really make sense.  The USPS has to arrange for people's likeness or IP licensing in order to do the commemorative stamps.  It makes perfect sense to handle that licensing in-house instead of running it through the LoC.

Republicans have been trying to sabotage and get rid of the USPS since FedEx or equivalent companies were made profitable. You can't trick me. A stupid idea made to sabotage and get a GQP goal is just the same as forcing 70 years of pensions for every new hire.
