Sorry for submitting this slightly earlier than usual but school is a mess right now and I have to shovel snow... again. *sighs*

I'm loving my game and watch Zelda.

Been playing Hey Pikmin on my 3DS too. Going to break out Tactics A2 on that before Triangle comes out.

Been playing SMT V this last week, fark all that game is weird sometimes. I'm so done with the unreal engine tho.

Polytopia is about the only mobile game I play, but I never get sick of it.

Finally finished Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and restarted in New+ mode, which is  a mode which allows you to keep all skills, items, weapons, and upgrades and play the story from the beginning.

This is a game mode which should be made for every game.  Freaking amazing.

On mobile, I don't know if I have a favorite game.  I switch them up regularly, but it's usually some form of puzzle game I can pickup and play for only a few minutes.  Plague, Inc. is probably one I've had installed the longest.  Right now, I've been working on Killer Sudoku from Cracking the Cryptic that is just brutal, with some of the puzzles taking 2-3 hours to solve, when I'm actually clever enough to start them.

Did a playthrough of Halo CE this pst weekend. Not gonna lie, it's not a favorite compared to the others. I'm playing Halo Reach right now and will jump into Halo 2 afterwards. I haven't played the campaign in that since 2006

I tried really hard to get into Inscryption.  I really like the tone and some of the puzzles, but the main card game loop I don't like so much.  And I keep getting completely screwed by RNG too.

I also gave a look to Aliens: Fireteam Elite.  It's basically a boring version of Left 4 Dead with the Aliens license.  It was kind of fun for a few hours, but luckily it was free on gamepass since it isn't worth spending much on it.

Speaking of gamepass, they just added Rainbow 6:Extraction.  I really like Siege, but despise the toxic community so much I quit playing a few years ago.  The new one is a co-op game, vs aliens, so hopefully the toxicity won't be there.  And they also added Hitman 1-3.  I loved the first 2, and am itching to try the 3rd.

Best game on the go...?  I don't game much when I'm traveling.  I keep a few crappy games on my phone if I'm stuck in an airport or something, and usually have the original Xcom or and some other old games on my laptop.  If I'm away from home I'm usually trying not to game.

I've been getting rocked on Red Dead multiplayer. But it's SO DAMN FUN I can't quit!! I'm like Jerry the Race Driver; I never get the checkered flag, but I never come in last!

If anyone else plays multiplayer, let me know. I'll posse up with ya.

Games wise, played through the Harley's Revenge DLC for Arkham City, then started Arkham Origins. So far, eh (But I'm just out of the tutorial, more or less, so...)

Also, gave up on the gameplay and cheated my way though Phoenix Point so I could see the story.

Still playing WoWS, but the new years event is done at least so it should only eat a bit of my time now.

On-the-go games: Don't have one, really. I'm usually (Like, 90+% of the time) driving, then doing stuff when we get where ever. I have a few dumb games on my phone, but it's like solitaire and stuff. If I had to name something, I'd like to play the Professor Layton series again, though.

/Last weekend was taken up with a trip to Costco to get the kids vaxxed, so less time to sit down and play.

I've beaten the first 2 bosses, but I keep getting farked by RNG between the 2nd and 3rd (usually bad starting cards).  I've opened the safe, clock, caged wolf, gotten the knife and opened the 4 puzzles.

Ah. Okay, a few tips:
1) Ouroboros == God. Take any opportunity to get it, play it whenever you can.
2) Squirrel head + undying or many lives == Infinite sacrifices.
3) Check the picture by the safe.
4) Don't be afraid to use the pliers or the knife.
5) I'm sure you know this, but the only thing that matters is the scale. If you can force a win past what he has on the board, you'll win. Also, damage doesn't punch through your cards (So you can block a grizzly with a squirrel if need be).

The RNG can kinda suck, of course, but keep trying and you'll get through eventually.

Dug up the original Sword of the Stars and playing it with a mod I'd never tried before.  Clunky UI vs modern standards but it holds up.  It is such a crying shame they never made a worthy sequel to it but from what I understand Kerberos is led by some hyper edgelord and a crew of equally toxic sycophants that left the franchise for dead when they saw the reaction from the fanbase over their unilateral decisions to change the core game play for the far, far worse.

Oh and 171GB install foot print?  That's nothing, my stupid Ark folder is over 400GB now.

That's with all the DLC, the other freebie extra maps and yah about 40GB worth of mods.  By far the heaviest game I've got for storage foot print.  But it helped me justify getting one of them fancy 2TB NVMe sticks a couple years ago.

Right I remember Shadow of War being another heavy one especially with that 4K texture pack.  I still think the funniest game installation fiasco was GTA5 with its pre-download option and all the kids finding out the hard way that their 120GB SSDs couldn't hold both the full game, and the pre-downloaded archive files it was trying to unpack itself from at the same time, LOL.

Nice, I played a fair amount of III, but VI is my jam.

The great part is that the combat is simultaneous turn based.  So you command your troops for what to do for the next 3 days, and so does your opponent.  And then they happen at the same time.

So you might command troops to defend a gate, but the enemy moves to a different one.  Or you make a run for their food while their commander anticipates you turtling up.

Why, why must you tempt me with such things??? Specs look good but I would like to see one running & doing things before putting cash down for it. As for that last link you posted for it, I have bought from Ameridroid before and can't say enough nice things about them. I ordered an OGS from them & unfortunately, it came with a bad screen. A quick email exchange (with a few pics) and they were on the case. I think the whole return process took about a week or so from me mailing it to them to getting a fixed unit back (with some "make good" quality of life improvements)....and candy in the box too! How nice is that?

Favorite Game on the go.....Link's Awakening. DX or no, it doesn't matter to me. That or the old Pokémon games (Red, Blue, Yellow).

My brother got me the Zelda Game and Watch and I played Link's Awakening on it recently and beat it. It also has Time Attack for the NES Zeldas as well as the two NES and more things on it. I am playing the Japanese version of Adventure of Link, which is harder than what the Americans got.

I haven't played any games this week. I've tried to start Hypnospace Outlaw a few times. Every time I do something comes up that demands my immediate attention before I can even start the game.

On to the question. My favourite games on the go ever are a couple of freeware games that I had installed on my Palm PDA before I lost it. The first is Space Trader, which is a turn-based clone of Elite.

Just returned to Ranger HQ for the final bit of Wasteland 3 in a playthrough.

Mentioned Lumines the other day, noticed it had been patched with different UI in the game select (or I just didn't recognize it after a year-plus away). Spent two hours in a single Tetris clone game. Still haven't unlocked the last three songs of the main game.

Speaking of, I miss Lumines on my Android. Took a while to adjust to touchscreen.

So, about the Retroid Pocket 2.  I got one for Christmas this year, and I have 2 notes.

1. It's bootleg AF.  How bootleg?  It came installed with roms AND the android version of AM2R.
2. Build quality is...kinda cheap.  Screen already broke on me (my fault, but still should not have broken so easily).  They have replacement screens for sale in their shop, so it's not the end of the world, but it's annoying.

Trying out Nobody Saves the World

Top down action RPG. As you level up you get different forms to take, with entirely different move sets. Each form gets quests that let you level that specific form. Get a form high enough and you unlock more forms.

Eventually you get the ability to transfer abilities to other forms to customize your builds.

I've only finished the tutorial dungeon and one other dungeon, but it's been great so far
