So what happens if I duct tape my 7-string guitar, 3/4 scale fretless bass and a 12-string plus my 6-string  acoustic midi Martin prototype to a farfisa pianorgan? Can I sell an nft?

He's a great guitarist and he explains that to you any chances he gets but he has the Yngwie Malmsteen thing where he's very talented but doesn't play anything you really want to listen to.

Great explanation.
Beats my, he's a great guitarist, in a pedantic wankry- sort of way.
Tho, For the Love of God is, imo, jaw droppingly amazing.

Animals as Leaders is really really like that.  Chops? Yep.  Personality?  Nope.  I saw a live video of them at some festival, and I couldn't find one woman in the audience.  At all. There were camera pans and everything :D

It's like he swiped one of Joel Hodgson's unused ideas for an Invention Exchange on MST3K.

And no, neither bagpipes nor accordions are "pipe organs".

Ah, one of the two arguments I always heard when somebody tried to tell me that musicians I like aren't very good.

Either they are technically proficient but sterile or they are just called guitar wankers. Both descriptions tell me more about the person making the claim than the musician.

It's okay to not like something without feeling the urge to shiat on it to make yourself feel better. I expect that out of high schoolers.

Shredders are and always will be a divisive subject amongst guitar heads. Shawn Lane was the only one I ever really had much time for, unless Holdsworth counts. And feel is farking hard , which is why 90 something % of metal guitar players worship Peter Green. Dudes like Johnny Winter with both feel and speed are basically freaks.

Naw. It's more than that. Dude is amazing. But eventually music is about the song. He doesn't have any good ones.  Which is weird. Because everyone knows who the guy is. Everyone knows he's good. Yet there's only like 16 people that know the names of any of his songs and they all have nine guitars. I know the names of a million songs I don't even like.

I've been thinking about building something like this out of cigar boxes for a while, just for laughs. Been a luthier for about 20 years, and have built guitars and ukuleles out of everything from lunch boxes to bedpans to tin cans, so it shouldn't be a problem to build a multi neck electric cigar box guitar with sympathetic strings. Maybe I'll even stick a kalimba on it. Hmm...off to the shop.

It goes both ways.  I've also heard uber-guitar elitists shiat on other people's taste in music as well for the opposite reason, i.e. "It can't be good because those players aren't even close the same level as the guitarists I listen to".
